I didn’t like smell + it doesn’t spray properly

I was using Original Sprout for my little boys tresses but his hair is getting thicker and longer and it's not as effective any more. I googled some reviews on this product before I ordered and from what I can gather there are issues with the spray. Well not here, it's not a misty spray so it squirts just where you spray it, avoiding him squirming because it's gotten in his eyes or tickling his neck..good for us, very direct and avoids waste. I also read it leaves a film on the hair...err yes I'd expect so what with it containing conditioning oils. All in all, it makes my sons hair feel like silk and he will now sit while I comb it rather than run away, it's a great product, quite expensive but I do usually use a water spray before I squirt this on as another reviewer has stated, I also feel better knowing it's all natural ingredients. And he smells like a peach!! This is a great step 1 for his hair styling routine. My son is bi-racial.

The product arrived earlier than expected, which was great, so I have no complaints as far as service and delivery are concerned. However, having read other reviews before purchasing it, I had high expectations for this product. My daughter has very curly hair which gets tangled very, very easily, so I bought this in order to both untangle and moisturise her toddler hair, as promised on the bottle itself. But this in NO WAY untangles anything. The product comes out in a very thin, teeny tiny little squirt that covers almost no hair at all. I would have to use the whole bottle just to wet her hair! So, instead, I've been putting the product on my hand and using it on her hair as a treatment oil, after detangling and combing her hair with something else. As a treatment oil, it's okay. It's moisturising and smells really good. But that's not why I bought it, so I'm back to square one. The bottle needs to be redesigned so that the product that comes out covers a larger area, otherwise it should NOT be advertised as a detangler as it simply does not work.

My little girl has lovely natural ringlets, but by the end of the day her hair tends to go frizzy and wild!. She wakes up with a birds nest on her head haha. This product is good and really brings out her curls, but I've only given it 3 stars as it tends to stiffen her hair and feels sticky. For this reason I don't use it everyday as it feels a bit heavy for her hair. I spray onto my hands and rub through her hair, as if you do it directly onto the hair you get way too much on, as the spray is very fine and direct. As you only need a small amount it will last for ages!

The main issue I have with this product is the spray nozzle. Rather than dispensing a fine, wide mist (as you'd expect), it comes out in one long jet. This isn't particularly helpful when you're wanting to target as much of the hair surface as possible as it just saturates one small section. So I've had to start spraying it into my hands, rubbing them together and then applying it to my little one's hair like that - which is sort of yuk as I hate the feel of it! It does separate the curls nicely - however, I think it would work better if the spray worked as it ought to, coating more of the hair. As with products such as mascara, the way it's dispensed is almost as important as the product itself - and, because of the issue with the atomizer, I'm having to mark it down.

i wouldn't say they are very moisturising but they do detangle my daughters' hair. one daughter has quite thick curly hair (like mixed race children) and the other has fine curly thickish hair (if that makes sense). it works to detangle both. so far it is the best out there but i'm still on the look out because i feel that it does dry out the hair if used on its own.
