Excellent for Beginner / quality parts / Easy to clean
I did a lot of online research before I bought this airbrush. I bought it rather than the Neo as experienced airbrushers say it is easy to clean and good quality parts. It also comes with a 0.4 needle set and 2 paint cups.it is simplicity itself to take apart and clean and to switch needles. Just treat it with careful respect and there should be no problems. It is the genuine article made by H&S. There are other similarly priced airbrushes which are made under licence. Spares though expensive are easily obtainable. It sits nicely in the hand and i have already been able to produce some good results spraying exercises only. - NO hose supplied but actually this was known pre purchase by me and I've made my ownclear hose from some medical tubing. The brush comes with the quick release fitting but this can be un screwed to leave a standard 1/8th inch BS threaded tail 9.2mm BS ( British Standard) if you so preferred. Compatability with hoses and most hobby compressors is assured.- Paint Cups come without lids - not a problem really as you can use it without easily. If you chose you could get some 3D Printed lids or buy them around £7 a throw.- Pinch tip? Some experienced airbrushers recomend this type of tip as its easy to wipe of any acrylics set on the tip during spraying. I've managed without this refinement but one will cost about £8.All in all i'm happy with this airbrush. It's now a case of practice ,practice and more practice!

Very good -and yes a cigar!!
I have owned many airbrushes in my lifetime but this is my 1st from this manufacturer. The build quality is up there with the best and I have been very impressed with the performance. The 0.2mm nozzle size may -on paper- appear restrictive for some, particularly if like me you would use it to spray properly thinned enamels. This is not the case and although i have tried the 0.4 mm nozzle the 0.2mm has become my preferred tip owing to minimum overspray.Unlike some airbrushes(all in my case) you do not need to push higher air pressures through to get this brush to spray with the small nozzle it will happily go down to 15 or 20psiThe broadest spray pattern of 3/4" to 1" is similar using either tip. As I often spray larger models the 5ml cup size is a must.I have since purchased the 0.2mm infinity air cap and crown tip for even more versatility and more importantly tip cleaning after a session. The greatest virtue is the maintenance issue. There are no little spanners-no tiny little nozzles to drop or lose it really is easy. The only issue i have had was when with 1st use there was some bubbling in the cup -this was sorted by hand tightening the air cap and has not reoccurred.I recommend the optional cup cap for the 5ml cup if like me you work within a confined space like a spray booth

Good value German made airbrush.
This is Harder and Steenbeck’s “entry level” brush which unlike many of its competitors is made in Germany, not China. It’s straightforward to use with a bit of practice and sprays the model making acrylic paints I use, including primers and metallics, without difficulty. Or at least, with no more difficulty than any other airbrush, even the most expensive can be temperamental :-) The brush is light and comfortable with precise enough trigger control.Having two different needle and nozzle combinations, of the same quality as used in H&S more expensive brushes, is very useful, and spare needles and nozzles (which are really consumables for any airbrush) are easily available and inexpensive. The only downside is there is only the one aircap design available, but even without a special “lining” cap this brush can make lines of pencil thickness with practice and correctly thinned paint.Cleaning is straightforward - a supply of good airbrush cleaner (I suggest Vallejo or Ultimate Modelling Products cleaners) is essential as is properly cleaning it after every use. Adding a little Vallejo flow improver to the paint is also a good idea. You can get cheaper (and rougher) Chinese made brushes but you’ll only need to upgrade to something better if you get into airbrushing so you might as well get one made by one of the top two airbrush companies (the other company being Iwata) in the first place and avoid a lot of hassle at the learning stage.

Was expecting the quality known to H&S
I use flow improver to dilude my paint (army painter new fanatic range) to the consistency of water and I set the preasure to 20 to 40 psi in increment of 5 psi.The problem is first the trigger is not sensitive to the first pull back and second the flow is not constant once it flows.I tried for 6 month to work in different ways with youtube videos and online advice, still a horrible Airbrush experience.I hoped for the new 2024 Ultra and got this model. Clearly I'm disapointed.

Soldi spesi in maniera eccellente. Un prodotto eccezionale a prezzi umani, sono ULTRA soddisfatto! 👍

Love it
I've only used the 0.2 tip so far. It creates such a fine line that I can easily write my name or cover larger areas with more trigger pull. The smaller color cup is a pain to clean because of its size so I only use the larger one. I haven't had to do a deep clean yet, so I'm not sure about that aspect. All in all I'm very impressed and pleased with this airbrush
