However (i guess it depends on your wall..ours was matt painted) it did not remove without damaging it when we came to leave our rental property and I had to sand and repaint the wall in places. However it was worth it and couldn't wait to get another one to put up...this one has Santa and north pole on it!! I got the largest one as it is so worth it for more detail and learning potential. Some advice for putting up. Mine didn't seem straight the first time when I did it in their order (which might bother you) so second time around I started with Africa and it was better.
