Or is it just the tiny white bit at the end?** A: You just dip the end with the reagent pad into the urine making sure the whole pad gets dipped. You can see the pad clearly in the product photograph. **Q: What does the colour chart mean there is no explanation if you are a first time user** A: It usually tells you on the pot what colour coding it is. You just have to match the stick to the colour and then it tells you what it is. Even on the inside of the pot it may have a sheet of paper with colour coding on. I say rough guide, as they display a reading that shows you an approximate amount of sugar in the urine by a colour code. When I developed blood sugar issues and could not get to see a doctor courtesy of the pandemic, I bought these to monitor what was going on and to manage my diet. Over the period I have been able to bring my BS down to the neutral colour and I am so grateful for this product.
