It's not bad - really quite alright. My second Ukulele, and I've had a few since. I've actually been playing this a little more recently since changing the strings. Had left it alone following a number of other uke purchases, and I would recommend getting the Aquila Red Series strings for this one, the only alternative stings I've tried on this particular uke, much better than what they came with. I use fluorocarbon strings on all my other ones ukes, so decided to try an alternative set for this string change and was really happy with it. What ever you choose, would strongly recommend changing the strings, as it will likely make all the difference. The build quality is really good, no visible issues with that, all neat and tidy, and the fret ends have for the most part been nicely rounded off (no sharp edges). The gig bag is also quite a nice one, padded and firm, in which I would imagine the uke would likely survive an accidental drop down a flight of stairs. Don't bother using the picks - as they'll mess your strings up - learn how to use your fingers, or get a felt pick if you insist! All in all a decent laminate build.

This instrument is very high quality, especially for the price. There are no badly joined parts, the fittings are top quality. The playability is fantastic, seems to be professionally setup. Even the accessories are top notch. Overall a really good instrument and was delivery within a few days of ordering.
