Great if you have the type of skin prone to insect bites.
This is the second one of these I purchased.Got one over ten years ago and it still works, just keep it in my car for when I go out. This works best if you use it as soon as possible after the insect bites. It works by pressing the plunger down to create a vacuum, having fitted one of the nozzles first. You may have to apply it to the skin for a few minutes as the whole idea is that the vacuum will draw out the poison the insect has put into your skin.I usually then just clean off the skin and apply a small amount of Anthisan Cream, it has antihistamine and anesthetic in it so after a few minutes you don't feel the sting and it helps to stop the itch , so no scratching.

Handy gadget to have!
This gadget works a treat! We used it when travelling abroad as some members of our party had never been bitten by mosquitoes.I was initially unsure as to how effective this Aspivenin would be but am happy to say that it works a treat! My nephew gets a lot of swelling from mosquitoe bites but by using the Aspivenin right after a bite, he didn't get any of swelling or itching.Do be aware that if you use the gadget as instructed that some skin types may have a mark (which looks a bit like a hickie) that lasts for a couple of days. To me, this is better than the discomfort and itching caused by bites.Thankfully, we didn't need to use the Aspivenin for bee/wasp stings, snake bites or stone fish stings.Overall, I recommend this and think it would be something helpful for anyone who is allergic to bees/wasps (obviously use medicine prescribed by your doctor first!) as a way to reduce the amount of venom exposure.

Wish I'd known about this sooner!
A friend was advised by her doctor to buy one of these and she, in turn, passed on the recommendation. It's a neat gadget. You fit the size of clear suction cup that you need. place it over the bite or sting and press down the plunger. The skin rises inside it and the venom/sting is sucked up thus removing most of the itch or discomfort. It does say not to use it on the face as it can bruise the delicate skin and leave you with a perfectly round bruise.

Not Good
I bought this product due to travelling to Africa for work however it doesn’t suck that well.I bought a cheaper one on here and it’s far better & sucks a lot better than this product. If you’re bitten by anything you want the power to be able to get any poison or saliva out of the wound. The cheaper plunger type on Amazon are superb and rally strong. One in the cheaper version you lift the plunger like a syringe which creates a seal on this version you push the plunger downwards which doesn’t make sense.Having said all that the product does work but definitely not as good as on there half the price. The only reason i bought this one was advertising really as it says it deals with Mosquitoe, Snakes & Spider bites. On reflection the cheaper plunger types are stronger & do all off above

Works for me
If there's anything biting I get bitten and to top it off I usually react badly to them. Last holiday as usual I was eaten alive whilst sat outside a restaurant one evening. The usual big red itchy lumps soon followed once back at the hotel. This device at first appeared to make the swelling worse but relieved the itching. By the following morning the swelling had subsidised significantly and within a few day's the bites were well on the mend. With previous bites before using this I would normally be scratching and suffering for weeks making a bigger mess in the process.

The most useful edc item
This is super portable and really easy to use. It comes packed into a handy case so is super packable even in a rucksack on a day out. I have used it twice already and it has been fantastic. Thank you to ‘John Gadget’ on u tube for making me aware of its existence.

Good to have
As a constant traveller to the far east, mosquitos are a pain. Have found that using this on mosquito bites does stop the itching and make them heal quicker.Haven't been bitten by a snake or scorpion yet so can't comment on the effectiveness of that!!!!!!!
