Tinkle Belts saved our rescue yorkie mix
We've all heard that some small dog breeds are difficult to house break, if ever. We were a bigger dog family (3 rescues) until we fostered a yorkie mix for an adoption agency here in Tulsa. He had been found dumped on a school yard with another little dog. After we agreed to foster him in took us several weeks of mysterious dribbles on chairs legs around the house and much time in the crate to realize he was a lifer pee-monster. It was clear why he was dumped. Out of desperation I searched the wed for a solution and found it with Tinkle Belts. They fit him perfectly. I line them with the cheapest sticky-back feminine pads we can buy. Yes he walked around a bit funny the first day or two, but he never tried to take it off. Now after a year of having to remember to take it off him when he goes outside, when I call him to, "suit up" and he comes right to me. Sometimes we call it his Sumo belt. Any way, Tinkle Belts have given him free range of the house and he rough houses with the bigger dogs all day have no slippage. Needless to say, we wound up adopting this "deadly cute" "pee monster". I have no doubt there are 10's of thousands of dogs that can become trusted family members with this product. I just wish they had a good a product for girl dogs - maybe someday. Absolutely buy this product and give it a few days for them to accumulate - it works.Terri HirschTulsa, Okla

Fits snug but too thin
After trying many many different wraps for my shih-tzu's sleep incontinence, I went to this one. It fits him great and isn't bulky at all. But it's very very thin. My little guy had it on for 20 mins and was sleeping on the couch, then he got up and moved and there was a piddle spot on the couch. I took it off of him and saw it was literally one drop...it'd soaked right through! I couldn't imagine the mess after one whole night of sleeping! So because I'd tried so many wraps, I just said whatever and he still wears it, but with a maxi pad on it (poor little guy has no dignity with that thing on!).I just sort of think the wrap defeats the purpose. I mean, it is for piddling, marking, and incontinence, right? If one tiny drop soaks right through, what good does it do? It's just another piece of laundry to do at that point. It's basically the thickness of a new sock. (Ever step in a puddle of pee with a sock on? I have.)So I don't recommend this really...not without additional support (I really didn't want to go the route of disposable anything in an effort to be green, and this is definitely not green-friendly bc you still have to use disposable liners, pads, etc if you don't want the mess...not to mention seeing a 9-year-old shih tzu with a maxi with wings just makes you sad to see!)My recommendation to the product-maker: make it thicker where it counts--add some sort of lining or something to where the pee will be going. It just makes sense.

Love at first try!
Love it-Love it-Love it!!!! I would give it 10 stars! I work long hours and dont want to leave my 2 pups in a restricted area,a chihuahua-papillon 10 pounders and a pom mix a bit overweight, and could not ask them to not pee for 12 hours, if a cant do it neither can they.....diapers are not the thing I wanted for them, and having had a female elder dog in diapers before I knew it would not work, so I was so happy to find those tinkle belts. They are different than the others I have seen because of the shape they have. Kind of a V shape where they pee which allows for less risk of leakage. The fabric is soft, I washed them before putting it on them the firs time, and they hold their form well when they are wearing them. I run them on a side of the counter to flatten them after the wash and let them air dry. I got 2 for each furkids so that I have one spare to use while I wash the other. Frankly, I wish I had seen them before, I put them on them when they refuse to go out because of extreme weather, doesn't take much to make it extreme to them, and I can still relax knowing that my floors and carpet are protected. I could not find them in pet stores, and I cannot understand why they are not selling them. Highly recommended, like mt. everest high recommended. So simple but so right!<3 <3 <3

Finally - it works for me!
I had read a review (somewhere - not here, though) that dogs can get out of these belly bands....my dogs are fine with these... maybe because they are used to belly bands? I don't know.Anyway, these belly bands are less expensive than the other brand I was purchasing (I have 5 dogs) and the material that is used is so MUCH better! I gave the product 4 stars instead of 5, only because they were a bit larger than I expected (or maybe my previous "belly band maker" made their products too small?). Anyway, my order needs to be tailored a bit.... I am adding more velcro to size the product more appropriately (I ordered a large for my FAT Cocker Spaniel and my FAT Bichon...) I should have stayed with a medium.... but I love the product so much that I am tailoring the ones that I have and I also put in another order for an additional TEN! (Keep in mind I have 5 dogs...). Now I told my husband if they ever make them in human size...... (lol - just kidding - I crack myself up!) Great product! Thank you! Now can you send me some FREEBIES, PLEASE????? =)

Easy on and off
I think this is one of the best belly bands around as far as design and ease of use. I have used about 5 different types now and the ease that you can put them on and off and the fit and design is great for my male "marking" little Cairn Terrier. Only one problem. The belt became a bit soiled so it needed laundered. While I did hand wash it the belt shrunk about a 1/2" or more. Now it is a bit tight on my pooch and I am not sure if I will be able to continue to use this product for additional shrinkage. I may consider ordering another size and washing it first and hope it shrinks down to the correct size, that is how much I like this product. Sad that this was the outcome on what would have otherwise been a perfect product. Not sure if I will continue to use this for this reason.
