Review: Quality Quality Quality - If anyone wants to buy quality tools Bahco are worth spending that bit extra, I have bought many different Bahco tools over the years and in my opinion are second to none for quality well made tools this ratchet screwdriver leaves all the others behind its another great bit of kit from this company. I cant rate their tools high enough they will out last other similar tools by a long shot. I highly recommend the brand and sellers of these tools. Review: Same or Better Performance at Half the Price of Other Screwdrivers. (Bought for £20) - Did a fair bit of research into what screwdrivers are best. I took a punt on this and am so glad I did. Other screwdrivers with comparable performance were twice the price. The only downside is the bit storage in the handle is a bit stiff. It doesn't come out smoothly. But again, this is a £20 ratcheting screwdriver that is actually worth buying. They've got to cut down costs, and the handle and bit storage is the best place to do this. A little shaft wobble, but not much at all, seemed comparable to much more expensive screwdrivers. Strong magnet, easy ratcheting, not heavy and a slim profile allowing you to get into hard to reach areas. This is all you really need to know about a screwdriver. Well, that and durability. Other screwdrivers around this price range had poor reviews related to their ratcheting, apparently it would just stop working. Haven't seen such criticisms for this one. Honestly, at this price I can't imagine you getting anything better. They didn't cheap out on the magnet, the shaft seems quality. It is definitely not a premium screwdriver, if you want a fancy handle, better bit storage or better build quality where the shaft meets the handle, be prepared to pay between £50 and over £100 to get something that feels more premium and may have better build quality. ## Features - With magnetic bit holder - Excellent torque with minimum effort with the 3 component textured handle - Smooth clockwise and anti-clockwise ratcheting ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B001DZI2VK | | Best Sellers Rank | 3,843 in DIY & Tools ( See Top 100 in DIY & Tools ) 38 in Screwdriver Sets | | Brand | Bahco | | Colour | Multi | | Customer Reviews | 4.7 out of 5 stars 2,459 Reviews | | EU Spare Part Availability Duration | 1 Years | | Global Trade Identification Number | 07314153017642 | | Head Size | 1/4 | | Head Style | Square | | Head style | Square | | Included Components | 808050 Ratchet Screwdriver & 6 Bits | | Item Dimensions | 28 x 28 x 18 centimetres | | Item Highlight | Ratchet mechanism speeds fastening | Bits included | Comfortable handle | Compact workshop and site use | | Item Type Name | 808050 Ratchet Screwdriver & 6 Bits | | Item Weight | 251 Grams | | Manufacturer | Bahco | | Material | Metal, Plastic, Rubber | | Model Name | 808050 Ratchet Screwdriver & 6 Bits | | Model Number | 808050 | | Number of Items | 1 | | Number of Packs | 1 | | Number of items | 1 | | Part Number | BAH808050 | | Recommended Uses For Product | Construction, Home Improvement | | Recommended uses for product | Construction, Home Improvement | | Set Name | Bahco 808050 Ratchet Screwdriver and 6 Bits | | Special Feature | Magnetic Tip | | UPC | 787721612797 733353372103 | | Unit Count | 1.0 count | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Bahco - **Colour:** Multi - **Head style:** Square - **Material:** Metal, Plastic, Rubber - **Number of items:** 1 ## Images ![808050 1/4" Ratcheting Bit Holder Screwdriver with 6 Bits - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/513keyLzMGL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Size, Style** options. ## Questions & Answers **Q: What's the difference between asin: b006mheia8 and this one? they seem to be the same.** A: The quality of this thing is top notch. great ratcheting and torque. **Q: Is it a three setting or two setting ratchet** A: Reverse ratchet - Standard screwdriver mode - and Forward ratchet **Q: Is the shaft removable? if so, what sort of connector is it? Thanks.** A: The shaft is not removable. The gray section rotates two notches to the right or two notches to the left. The middle notch is for non-ratcheting use. I thought that I would mention that it did not come with any bits just in case you did not read that in the description. HTH **Q: does the 808050s have a bit compartment? where is the "easy push button" if it does?** A: Not sure why Amazon asked me if I could answer your question. I have the Lord model not the s. Mine has a bit compartment in the handle. The easy push is on the handle. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Quality Quality Quality *by S***L on 11 September 2026* If anyone wants to buy quality tools Bahco are worth spending that bit extra, I have bought many different Bahco tools over the years and in my opinion are second to none for quality well made tools this ratchet screwdriver leaves all the others behind its another great bit of kit from this company. I need a ratcheting driver for many things: hinges, door handles, shelves, brackets, the list goes on. My old cheapo one was begging for the sweet release of the bin, mainly due to being abused daily for 5 years. So, I figured I'd upgrade the replacement. Oh boy, this thing is a delight. Genuine happiness each time I use it. The ratchet mechanism is solid, smooth and gives a reassurance that your twisting wrist energy is being transferred smoothly and efficiently. The magnet at the business end is surprisingly strong. I've managed to hold 4 screws on it, and continue to unscrew without them budging. Handy for those little fiddly screws. The best bit- The storage. So clever! Sure, it only holds 6 bits. But truly, how many does one need on a day to day basis? For me it's 4. So this is perfect. The push button and sprung release is brilliant too. Very user friendly, and the least "faffy" storage I've used. No messing with screwtops, or having to poke bits out of slots. The bits themselves are great quality. Even after letting a friend use it to remove worktop brackets that were corroded, the tips showed no damage. Wrecked a few screws though! Length. This is the only point that I'm a little less enthused about. I do like a slightly shorter tool usually- just prefer it in my hand and in the pocket/toolbelt. But. It is very handy having an extra inch clearance, makes those tight squeeze screws a little more accessible. For a daily driver that has such a nice finish and quality, you'd be hard pressed to beat it. ## Frequently Bought Together - Bahco 808050 Ratchet Bit Screwdriver - Bahco BH59/S100BC 100 Pcs Bit Set For Slotted, Phillips, Pozidriv, Hexagon, Robertson nd Coloured TORX,TORX Tamper, Head Screws --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.be/products/47934187-808050-1-4-ratcheting-bit-holder-screwdriver-with-6-bits](https://www.desertcart.be/products/47934187-808050-1-4-ratcheting-bit-holder-screwdriver-with-6-bits) --- *Product available on Desertcart Belgium* *Store origin: BE* *Last updated: 2026-10-04*
