Great switch easy fitting with twist lock front fitting

An excellent product at a decent price. Fitting was fairly simple, the quality of internal connections [usually a weak point] was more than adequate. After 2 months outside in the North Yorkshire weather it has proved fully waterproof. Even the little instruction leaflet was clearly written in understandable English.

Installed next to my hot tub to control the lights around it. Slightly unconventional install as I'm running a Shelly Plus i4 and Home Assistant to switch some smart bulbs and a WLED strip above the tub, but it works perfectly. The new design is significant'y better than the previous version as there's no longer any chance of stripping the screws if/when they start to rust. A quarter turn of the large plastic retainers and it's locked perfectly. My only wish would be if BG/Masterplug would make a 2 gang version of the outdoor retractive switch. Sure, you could potentially modify this one with a couple of springs but I'd prefer not to start hacking electrical devices (especially ones that are going to live outdoors).

Bought this for garden lighting. Not quite as bombproof-looking as the MK Masterseal equivalent I've installed in the past but not far off and was almost half the price... and likely to perform just as well in real terms. And unlike the MK, the 'locator' neon indicator is already pre-wired to one of the switches. MK supply a neon with theirs but it's loose making it 'optional'. Maybe worth thinking about as it gives the 'rookie DIY spark' one less thing to fiddle around with...!

Needed to replace a switch inside my garage, because the old switch was very close to the garage door, there just might be a slight chance of water penetration if rain was blown into the garage. I opted to replace it with the Masterplug weatherproof switch. Personally I like the large switches, no more fiddling about with the tiny switches on the old light switch. Over cautious...yes, but love it.

Curiosamente hoy cuesta 18 Euros y yo lo compré por 12 euros. Hay que tener cuidado con los precios en estas cosas. Está montado en exteriores, en una terraza. Ningún problema. Es GRANDE. Y el plástico es bueno. Al menos de momento no se aprecia envejecimiento alguno.

Buon prodotto, a norma CE, con vite per collegamento terra separato dai due deviato che in base a come vengono collegati diventano interruttori. Spia a 220V su un solo deviatore per segnalare se la luce rimane accesa o spenta in un altra stanza, in base al collegamento che si vuole effettuare. Coperchietti rotondi copri viti di chiusura per esterni. Se proprio vogliamo trovare un difetto, i due deviatore sono abbastanza rumorosi "clak"! Nell'insieme un ottimo prodotto, Amazon puntuale come sempre!
