**Q: will the cables provided fit a tascam US-122?**
A: I see the Tascam us122 has xlr inputs, the mic has an xlr lead. So it will fit but as I don't own a us122 I don't know how it will function. I plug mine direct to the mic xlr on my xone 43c dj mixer

**Q: can this be connected to a speaker with 3.5 jack? do I need a different cable?**
A: You will need to plug it into an amplifier first on most speakers. If the speaker has an inbuilt amp. no problem.

This is a great microphone. Sturdy, robust - takes a beating and works rather well. Good weight to it - it feels professional and delivers a professional quality sound. I love Shure!

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Its a solid package and better switch than the PG58 i have

What i like about the Shure bundles is exactly that, with the microphone you are also getting a durable case, a pre made mic cable and the mic stand clip holder with the spare reducer thread if you mic stand has a smaller diameter holder. The microphone was bought to replace a PG58 which is a few years old, also a switched model, but the switch fitment on it is very stiff and some times hard to use, so with this model the switch is much easier to operate, so i like that a lot. As a mobile DJ and karaoke provider, i use and hear the microphones i own all the time and this is more than acceptable for speeches, perhaps not quite a good as my PG58 in terms of picking up feedback, but it is pound for pound a great deal and i would never think of returning it.
