Dr. Martens1461 Derbys

Dr Marten is a top brand and I wasn't disappointed with these shoes , its worth paying the extra if you need a strong comfortable shoe with a wider fit. The finish is very good with even colour and spot on stitching. I have recently bought a pair in the Chelsea boot style and there is consistent quality with these shoes. I tried on the shoes when I received them, wearing them indoors for a while to test them and I think they wont take a lot of breaking in as they are a comfortable fit.

True to size, very well made and SO comfortable. Give your feet a treat!

Perfect work shoe for me, but they do take a bit of breaking in. I have to wear them with two pairs of socks, but after a few weeks it becomes second nature. After several months of wear and tear the shoes still look brand new and are comfy. Worth the money, as these shoes will last and last.

I've being buying DMs all my life and these seem pretty good (only just broke them in). They are described as the original design and look very similar to the "original" design at least from above. The sole design is different though with a yellowish cellular under-sole structure visible through the sole. The ridge pattern is the same as the original though. Can't say how long they may last but they seem well made and robust so hope fully they'll do for a few years.

I always wear DM's for work - they are so durable - they last for ages and polish up so well that they look brand new. This particular model are a great improvement to previous DM's I've purchased because even during the first few wears they are so comfortable that they feel like slippers - no rubbing which had occured previously. Excellent value for money!

Please be careful with this product. Reading other reviews some are delighted some are appalled. Thought I would be delighted opening the box and seeing these nice shoes. I thought the poor scores were just grumblers how I apologise to them!It took weeks to even be able to walk to the top of my street in them. The leather - not sure if it is leather - has never softened and does not feel remotely supple. I ordered these on 25th November 2017 spent at least 5 weeks trying to bed them in so minimal wear.After Christmas I was able to wear them a couple of times a week so long as I did not stray far from the house. Wore them today for work a ten minute walk away and during a meeting noticed that the sole on the right shoe has come away at the side - a significant gaping hole. Minimal wear the insoles still look like new. I cannot find anywhere on the Amazon site that let's you return faulty goods. My return window is showing as closed.My fault pay cheap get cheap but scared now to cough up to buy the made in England ones at £150 a pop.These are certainly to be avoided and yet I really wanted to like them.
