Granddaughter loved it
Good game. Kept children focused. Adults enjoyed it too.

Great game, small design flaw in storage I feel.
Used to play this with my mum when I was younger so purchased for my son for Christmas.Brilliant game to get your brain working. Only downsides were the covers for the pegs are very stiff and feel like they may snap at some point. Also the wire and black pegs to show whether your correct or not, sit in a little recess, however there is no cover to this so each time you play, you need to dig them out and bag them up or risk loosing them.

Classic game
May not be an original but very user friendly. Played with loads and the only complains is the orange and pink needs more definition. As under the cover it needs more colour

Great game for all ages
I used to love this game when I was younger. I purchased this for my 6 year olds Christmas and we’ve had great fun playing with it so far.A negative of this set up is that the correct order screen does not flip around the opposite way so that you can confirm to your opponent that they have guessed correctly and there is no cover for the small black and white pegs, hopefully they will not get lost over time. These points don’t affect the game at all and is only because the game I had when I was younger did have these things.

Kids like it
Kids seem to like it (age 6 & 9) but suspect novelty will wear off soon. Game doesn't last ages as they solve it in a few guesses. We had Mastermind game in 80s/90s - it's basically that.

Fun game but not well made
The game is good - but this version of it feels quite cheap. The hinges on the moving plastic doors don’t work well and feel like they may break. It is also not good for taking out/away with you because the lods do not stay closed and the pins fall out.

Codes of 5 pegs and 8 colours makes this more of a challenge than some of the others
Great game, forces you to use your grey matter and suitable for a wide range of ages! Use your powers of logical deduction to guess the secret code. Game itself is of sturdy construction, and provided with plenty of the coloured pegs - there is a convenient lid which should prevent them from spilling out when being stored. Note that most of these types of code games have codes of only 4 pegs with 6 different colours... this has 5 pegs with 8 different colours making it more of a challenge if you want - of course if it's too hard you don't need to use all the colours and holes!
