DO NOT PURCHASE
If I could give them 0 I would! At first the bags seemed great. Did the job and held the perfect amount. 4 months later and I am absolutely heart broken because every single bag I take out of the freezer is leaking. All those middle of the night pumps, all that time spent pumping, for absolutely nothing. Ladies please DO NOT buy these bags and save yourself the heart break I'm currently experiencing. I'm not sure if I got a faulty batch or what but I wouldn't use these again if you paid me. I've since been using Medela and these seem infinitely more stable and have encountered 0 leaking bags.

Leaked my hard made milk, so how are they sterile?!
Seemed great initially. Used these for months whilst expressing, we defrosted 6 of these over Christmas period so I could get more sleep as baby was given a bottle. 5 of the 6 bags leaked! If the bags degrade sufficiently to let milk out, these bags cannot be sterile. I complained to Amazon who have simply refunded the money. I think this needs to be investigated. I note from the question and answer section another customer had a similar issue and they suggest standing the bags in a bowl to catch the leaks. I would suggest avoiding these and getting others that will keep your milk sterile.

Avoid these rubbish bags. They leak while being defrosted and could make a wet mess in your changing bag!
I bought this as it was cheaper than the Medela Pump & Save bags (around £8-9 for 50 rather than for just 20) to use with my Medela electric pump. The Medela ones as it's easier to stand it up. These ones do stand, but you have to make sure you remove as much air as possible first. The Medela ones also have the strap that goes over the breast shield to help hold it in place, so that you can just hold the shield while expressing. With these ones, you have to make sure you hold the bag and the neck of the breast shield firmly together and push the breast shield against your breast at the same time. I find that it's helpful to see how much milk is being expressed so with the Lansinoh bags it just makes this a little bit harder. I haven't had a chance to defrost the bag yet so can't comment on whether it leaks or not as others have mentioned. Fingers crossed! Update: 22 November 2013 I have since defrosted some of the milk when I have been out with my baby and AVOID THESE RUBBISH BAGS! Thankfully I have put them in freezer bags, or else they'd have made a mess in my bag! Every single one of them have leaked and I've got about a dozen more in the freezer. I'm having to use the remainder to double bag while defrosting them at home and then putting the milk into a bottle to take out. The Medela ones are far better and I used 25 of them with no problems. I hate these ones.

Devestated!!
The first pack I bought of these bags was fantastic. Really strong. I then ordered from this supplier about 4 weeks ago and started freezing my milk. The bags didnt seem quite as strong when I was freezing and the seal was more difficult to secure. I recently removed 2 from the freezer to defrost and as they were thawing they leaked and the milk was lost. You can imagine my heartbreak. I follow the instructions when sealing the bag, removed all the air and ensured the double seal was well closed. In one case the leak came from the seal and in the other a hole appeared in the bottom. So disappointed. I am now in the situation where I have about 12 bags of frozen milk and dont know how to defrost them without losing them.

Say goodbye to your liquid gold
At first I was really pleased with these bags, I even went and ordered more. Then I came to thawing out my milk. I don't know how but they leak, on inspection you will find a tiny tear in the bags. Obviously this didn't happen when the milk went into the bag originally but I'm assuming when the milk freezes it damages the bags. For every 2 bags I'll get out to thaw, one will be leaking milk. I've tried defrosting overnight in the fridge, only to find a puddle. I'll put in warm water and the water will fill with leaked milk. I have a freezer full of these bags so I'm worried how many more I'll lose along the way. So far 15 bags of breastmilk have had to be thrown. I'll be going back to my original brand, more sturdy plastic and has never let me down, unfortunately they were just out of stock when I needed them.

Poor quality and badly designed
Very poor quality bags. Have had nothing but spills, tears and leaks while using these. Pros: Warms milk quickly when bag is submerged. Cons: Prone to leaks Floppy, don't stand up on their own Double zip lock is a good idea in theory but not in practice as poorly executed Inaccurate markings for oz "Easy pour" is nonsense Overall, I'm legitimately shocked at the high praise these bags garner. I've been left extremely disappointed by the poor quality and design of these bags. Will not buy again and would recommend others who don't want to lose precious oz of breastmilk to also avoid.

AVOID AVOID AVOID
I’m 6 months post-partum and have a large freezer stash that for the last 2 months now Ive been defrosting and using before it expires. In the early days of pumping I used these bags a lot, so the milk I’m defrosting now is mostly in these bags and believe me when I say: literally 90% of these have leaked while I’ve been thawing them. I have always put the milk in a sterile container in the fridge to thaw so nothing goes to waste, a tip I learned in my last pumping journey, but I cannot believe the poor quality of these bags compared to other makes. Will never buy these again.

Not good
As I am beginning to use my milk I’m noticing most of the bags are ripped, I’ve used about 10 so far and at least 6 have had small holes in them. My milk has always been stored as instructed as well as having their own compartment in the freezer. Although I can’t see how it must have happened in the freezer so if you do get these for freezing milk be aware they’re extremely delicate and can affect to safety of your milk when freezing/thawing and warming up if you do this while the milk is still in the bag.
