CasioMen Digital Automatic Watch with Resin Strap W-59-1VQD

I ordered this watch to wear during outdoorsy activities as I wanted something inexpensive and durable, and this definitely fits the bill. It was easy to set the time and date, and the display screen is simple and clear. It is comfortable to wear and the strap fits nicely (I have quite small wrists and often find watches uncomfortable as they slide around or ride up my sleeve). I like the "retro" feel of it too, as I remember having a Casio watch like this back in the '80s when I was at school!

This watch is excellent - waterproof, accurate, clear, tough, affordable and an easy to use set of buttons. I have used this type for several decades now and they have only one failing - the strap. This is not long enough and also it eventually breaks, usually loosing the watch in the process so i have bought many of them.

This watch is amazing. It's not ostentation, if actually fits on my wrist, it stays out of the way until I need it, and it does exactly what it's supposed to do - which is to tell the time.This watch oozes nostalgia and still has the crappy backlight that is of no practical use whatsoever. I love it.

I have bought a number of these watches over the years. This watch meets my requirement for a functional, cheap and accurate timepiece. I am not concerned with flaunting my watch. This device is so light that it is almost unnoticed on the wrist. If the battery fails, or the strap breaks, it is cheaper to replace the watch. It is outstanding value for money and highly recommended.

Very good price compared to local jewellers. I have had several of this type of watch in past and found that the chief drawback is that the straps break; the battery life usually is a good few years. The up to 50 m depth means it should withstand going for a swim in the local pool or the occasional mistaken plunge into washing up water - that said however to better preserve the strap life it's.a good idea to keep it out of suds/cleaning products. It tells the date and may also be used for timing (eg boiled eggs or jogging runs) and has choice of 12 or 24 hour clock for time as well as a single alarm option. As far as I am concerned it is a useful everyday timepiece.

My original finally gave up, the strap parted after 8 years. But the original battery was still going well. Time for a new one, they are cheaper now than originally. Would highly recommend, extremely robust and great value for money.

I bought this for my boyfriend who wears this every day and it withstands multiple water splashes (he is a barber so washing hair a lot) and it even survived a Tough Mudder. Classic design, comfortable and sturdy.

This casio is not as accurate as the same model casio it replaced. It is right on the border +0r minus -- 30 seconds per month, maybe a little over.Disappointing. Considering the price and the use I intend, I suppose it is good value. I have had several casio watches and have been pleased with them. I would reccomend a casio watch as a good value, reliable, durable product. Philip Williams
