This annealer works very good and took care of my hard to size 308 in no time. The 4 stations for further prep work is awesome. 1 negative is the torch assembly is pretty low quality compared to the rest of the unit and easy to replace with a better one for less than $20 other than that excellent

Works good with fine control

Annealed several thousand rounds and it works great. Did notice that when using the small wheel with shout case adapter for my 22 hornet and 270 REN cases that if the speed is too slow it jams in the tab for the release gate coming out of the first wheel. Turning the speed up to around 60 which is where these cases need to run anyways as they are thin eliminated the issue. Love the hopper. Just fill it with the cases and letter rip. I still monitor but don't have to feed cases one by one. I made a chart showing which case use what speed setting for future reference.

I don’t usually write reviews unless a product surprises me above and beyond expectations. This is the case with this annealer and the company that has made it available. The Gen 2 exceeded my expectations on a number of levels. The design is exceptional, the engineering is precisely on target and the manufacture of this unit looks like a piece jewelry! To those of you who want to extend the life of your cartridge cases and stabilize neck tension the Burstfire will help you do that at a very reasonable price as compared to other annealers. I purchased this product at retail price, so this is an honest and fair evaluation. I used this product for two months before writing this review.After learning more about this company, I learned they also make case mouth tension tools, primer pocket tools for cleaning and removing military crimps, and tools for champhering and deburring that can be used on top of the annealer. These are the most precise tools I have ever used for case prep. I bought them all and these tools have saved me a lot of time getting cases ready to reload. I have “no” regrets spending the money to purchase these as they are precisely as advertised. Burstfire has a number of YouTube videos which I encourage you to view these products.Customer feed back is important to this company as they value customers and provide excellent customer service. If something can be improved they willingly listen and make changes as necessary! Amazing that there is a company that actually views the importance of product quality, design, engineering and the value of a customer!!!!Obviously, I “highly” recommend this company and their products!

I did allot of research before deciding to purchase the Burstfire. I had some initial issues with my large 300 Win Mag cartridges, so I sent Burstfire an email. Same day response with a fix. Mainly stupid stuff I overlooked as someone new to annealing.Can't say enough good about Desmond or the staff at Burstfire. The machine is quality built, extremely quiet, and will be a perfect addition to my reloading room. I know there are others similar, but I have zero regrets in selecting Burstfire. Quality machine, and absolutely the best customer service.
