Desperate Housewives - Season 6 [DVD]

I am really enjoying this series. It is better then season 5 in that there are more characters and a faster moving plot. There are several new characters including the Bolan family with a history and a glamorous new girlfriend for one of the Scarvo sons. There are many funny scenes such as the 'healthy competition' between Susan and Gaby's children at school. They each are part of a animal grouping system for maths and English. Once Gaby breaks the code of hierarchy then tears and arguments follow. I found myself laughing more this series as well. Although the stories are deeply moral there were just more smiles to be had this season. Bree aims to work on her marriage with Orson and Katherine makes a recovery following her breakdown after Mike married Susan again. Susan also helps out an ex stripper which delights all the men on the lane! Well worth buying for a DH fan or those who are curious-its well worth a try!

Amazing to binge watch. Really amazing story lines

My wife absolutely loves watching Desperate Housewives - I don't. For the last 6 years at Christmas, I have bought her the current series so she can be totally up to date.So in terms of a review, I'll keep it brief. Essentially, if you are a fan of Desperate Housewives, you will not be disappointed - according to my wife this series is very good and keeps up the excellent storylines and humour.The good thing about ordering through Amazon is that you know you will be getting the proper product at a superb price and quickly delivered.Highly recommended.

love desperate housewives to bits!!! the first seasons were more realistic in suburbia whereas the latest ones have become more entertaining as they are further fetched, as in they have some crazy, funny story lines. these women have real lady-power and seem to look better with age... bloody hot ladies... wish i was them! each character has their own unique personality trait which makes this awesome series more dynamic. no bad words about it! if ur into helarious and outragious, this is for you! holly-ann

I am a huge Desperate Housewives fan and have all the other series on dvd, so of course I had to get this. Not going to lie, it's not one of the best series, however I would be wrong to say it's rubbish; still very good! If you're a fan then obviously this is for you, but if not clearly you should start at the beginning (series 1-4 are the best by far)

I really enjoyed this series but it was a bit more far fetched than previous series (and those far fetched enough in some places). I love Desperate Housewives and this series did not dissapoint. Really liked Angie as the new housewife, thought she was great.Don't want to spoil anything but I was expecting a lot more once the killer had been revealed - What did Susan/Julie have to say about it? What happened to him? It just seemed that they gave you the identity of the killer and that was it, there was no backlash for Lynette?!I like the cliff hanger and can't wait to see what series 7 brings??!!

This sixth season is fantastic !! The scripts are creative and fun and the philosophy within it giving real life problems and the characters solving them is awesome !!The saddest part of it is the story of the Eddie kid and his tragic life and how Lynette reached out to him !! Awesome comedy drama and Teri Hatcher looked even more amazing !!

I stopped watching the series for ages (no particular reason) and got back into it recently. It's certainly enjoyable and I recommend it to a fan, but the sixth season seems to have less serial value than the ones before it. Subjective opinion over, objective opinion = good price for a good DVD.

It helped me to laugh on days I cried over the lose of my son Rory.
