If you use a layer of loo roll to prevent splashback does this invalidate the concept of the product?

If you anticipate a larger than usual emission then you would be wise to avoid spraying this into the bowl, or into the tissue, in case an inadvertent drop should make contact with your chocolate starfish. Unless you have a particularly toughened ring piece, the "essential oils" may react and leave you with a Johnny Cash. Having said that, dousing the next three pieces of toilet paper on the roll - allowing adequate time to dry - does ensure the next customer has a warm and memorable visit.

Will this negate the consequences of eight pints of Guinness followed by a chicken vindaloo?

Possibly, but it wont negate heart disease, obesity and diabetes!
