Nutrisport Whey Protein Isolate Chocolate 5Kg

People do like bashing this protein, I just don't get the hate. I last bought this in 2022 and it was very grainy although it did'nt bother me. I have now bought again in 2026 and its a much finer powder and a more pale colour (chocolate flavour) than before. Assuming its isolate, its great value and mixes fine, the taste is okay, but I drink it so fast I barely notice. If you want a milkshake go buy a milkshake. A big tub of whey protein for a good price, what's not to like?

Seems like a good quality whey, it says it's low in lactose but it does give me a little gass, but not as bad as a whey concentrate. Usually a 90% whey isolate wouldn't cause any issues but those are far more expensive. Giving it two stars because it is excellent value for money if you aren't lactose intolerant. The flavour is bland and you can taste the pea in it but I wasn't expecting a great tasting product at this price point.

First off, I'm going to say: the bucket, when opened, smells like dog food. Thankfully, the protein doesn't taste like it. This is not the best protein powder I've had nor is it the worst. Decent taste, but has issues with mixing in water and there's always a bit of residue left. Overall, if you don't mind the smell, it's great value for money. Will be buying again.

Super grainy, will not mix away the grit. Over time if you leave it just becomes less hard grains and more soft chunks. Hard to believe this is as much protein as advertised per 100 grams. I have used hundreds of different protein isolates as a body builder and this is the only one with this consistency. If the company can contact me to reassure would appreciate it as I have used other products from them with success.

The taste is pretty horrible, doesn't taste like any protein powder I've ever tried before however, the main thing is this is cheap and it does the job. I just hope the nutritional value is as per advertised.

Excellent. I was concerned about the taste of this product after reading several rather scathing reviews, but having since been able to order and taste it myself I have to say it is fine. I've had a lot of different protein brands and flavors over the years and this tastes fine, I've had much, much, much worse. The flavor is very mild, and this is, in my opinion, the sign of a good protein. It isn't loaded with tons of artificial flavors that can make you feel fuller, bloated, sick etc. It has a very mild and light chocolate flavor that makes consumption easier while simultaneously allowing you to retain an appetite and consume meals as well. This for me is the whole purpose in purchasing a Whey Isolate instead of a cheaper concentrate. The budget concentrates/Isolate blends tend to be over flavored and they can make you feel exceptionally full and bloated Verdict: Quality = Top notch Isolate. 85grams protein per 100grams of product. Price = Best value Flavor/taste.... = Good. Does it taste like dessert? No. Is it drinkable on a daily basis? Absolutely.

Taste it good but it don’t mix well and it feels like someone drop sand in your shake where it’s so gritty and that does not change no matter how much water you use definitely wouldn’t buy again

For the price its a good product. Better than a lot out there. I'm on my 4th tub . Not the greatest taste but add a dash of honey and good to go. Vanilla is nicer than chocolate in my opinion.
