Takes work and is messy! But seems to work...
Ok, firstly this is NOT a 'miracle quick fix' that will magically transform old plaque-covered stained teeth into some sort of airbrushed Hollywood style gleaming white so be realistic! I'm 49 yrs old and decided to be quite proactive regarding my teeth. I used dental instruments (from Amazon for about twelve quid) to remove the plaque (painful and bloody experience - but effective!), then I spent thirty quid on a water flosser device to clean up the gums where the teeth meet the gums and between the teeth (VERY effective, but again, quite bloody. I clearly had gingivitis, worse than I thought). Then, finally, this charcoal stuff and anti bacterial mouthwash. The results have been quite impressive! My teeth feel and look cleaner and whiter, like the feeling you get when a dental hygienist has removed the plaque from your teeth and you can feel each individual tooth? My teeth do indeed look whiter than before and feel cleaner. The gums don't bleed any more each time I brush my teeth (I use an electric toothbrush), the charcoal is messy as Hell and obviously your mouth and teeth go a somewhat frightening shade of black, but following a good rinse and repeat brush with normal toothpaste and rinse with, say, Listerine, the results are good. I'm not easily impressed but this stuff seems to work. I think you have to be realistic as the teeth will get whiter but only to an extent depending on the condition of the teeth themselves, your lifestyle and general health overall. But I'm happy with the progress so far! 👍 I hope this helps...

BEWARE Advertised as Whitening Kit & left streaky black lines on teeth!
The product is advertised as a Teeth Whitening Kit. It shows up in: Whitening Kits category here on Amazon. THE PRODUCT SHOULD NOT BE LISTED IN ‘Whitening Kits’. I have been assigned to arrange a review of teeth whitening kits and what turns out to be just a powder (used like toothpaste) is not a teeth whitening kit. Whitening kits are kits which come with different products (in fact to be a kit of any kind there must be a set of articles or equipment needed for a specific purpose), but further to this a ‘Whitening Kit’ is a specific thing itself anyway. It usually at the very least contains some kind of already formed teeth whitening gel & teeth trays. This product is not that and has been falsely advertised as a teeth whitening kit. I might complain directly to Amazon about this whole purchase because I feel mislead by the fact that the product was sold under the Whitening Kits category and what’s worse the person who was doing the review opened the powder and used some before I saw it was powder, so I can’t send it back. There is some concern with using the product as it was used once and the person who used it had black small streaks on his teeth that wouldn’t wash or brush out for two days after using it (they made his teeth look really bad) and because of this he brushed with normal toothpaste and this caused sensitivity after the powder and toothpaste. He has said the sensitivity has gone now. Without the black streaks it looks to me like a good enough product, actually quite a good idea in theory and the powder is fine without big bits. It is really good to see natural ingredients too. Just don’t advertise it incorrectly under ‘Whitening Kits’ it is wrong, misleading and false advertising which concerns trading standards. Please DON’T ADVERTISE THIS UNDER WHITENING KITS!

It does work!
Let me cut straight to the point, it works. But don't expect an instant transformation from a dentists nightmare to Hollywood pearly whites. It's going to take at least a week or two to notice a difference as long as your teeth are healthy. I've noticed some people are saying that some of the powder gets stuck in between their teeth however I personally have not had this problem. Everyone's teeth are different so expect everyone to have a slightly different experience using this product.One thing I will say is that this product can get messy, especially if you're not careful. What I have found is using it in the shower is best as it minimises the risk of the powder getting anywhere you don't want it to and it's easy to clean in the shower, I can't say the same if it gets in your carpet, so be very careful!

Honest review
I heard so many great things about charcoal teeth whitener so thought I must try it. To be honest I only used it a week and gave up as was not impressed. It is ok but a bit of a hassel and messy. Asides from that my main issue was that the black charcoal was sticking around my gums and inbetween teeth even after thoroughly rinsing. It doesn't leave a fresh feeling in the mouth as it has no flavour and I like fresh/minty after brushing teeth so I still have to brush my teeth after each use which I just find it pointless. If I'm paying for a teeth cleanser/whitener I expect it to clean my teeth and mouth and feel fresh. I have gave 3 stars based on the fact I only used for a week (twice a day) and did not use long term to notice any whitening results. Also the fact I used next day delivery and it took 3 days to arrive, but this could be Amazons fault and not the seller.

not good as a whitener, but good as a cleaner
I personally did not like this product, although it was delivered on time. my problem with the charcoal paste is it does not make your teeth any whiter. I have been using this product for just over a month now, and although it does leave your mouth and teeth feeling clean whiter my teeth are not. The biggest problem with the product is not that it it doesn't make your teeth whiter, the problem lies with the less it leaves your sink (and walls and everything else) absolutely covered in a black/grey mess. I personally don't think I have had to bleach my sink as much as this ever. Now I would have given the product a three star rating of it was not for the fact that, I purchased it solely on the premise that it would make my teeth whiter. Again i must reiterate that it does leave your mouth feeling verry clean, I strongly miss the minty freshness of using tooth paste (which I will be going back to).So I would only recommend this product for people who plan to use it along side tooth paste, and for people who just want a good clean feeling. But to be fair I kind of new it wasn't going to give me the same results as dentist whitened teeth, but I did expect it to at least whiten then slightly.
