I love reading whilst eating so this item has made life so much easier without having to prop books up on a vase or similar. It holds books of many sizes and thicknesses, even my Kindle, and is very stable. Lightweight and easy to pack when travelling, too. I love it!

Fabulous, easy to use. Holds my large books well. The dip for the spine is great.Holds the pages well. More sturdy than it looks.I managed to use it while reading in bed, nestled on top of my duvet. Folds flat with the book in it..Great, no more book marks falling out!Wish I had this years ago!

The product images show transparent page holders that can be read through. As my photo shows this is deceptive. If this isn't an issue for you it works well, if it is an issue, don't buy.

Initially, a look at it scared me, I thought it was flimsy or won't take a heavy book but wrong was I. Surprisingly, it does actually take a big heavy long note. And it keeps it in place. I like this better cos the angle suits my need, almost 180 degrees straight up, which is good for my recording needs. The white clip that holds the book in place is quite good, quite spacious too, or wider degree to take a big book. I will highly recommend.

Unlike other users, I was not looking for a cookery book stand, I just wanted something to hold my books in view whilst I used my computer. One feature which drew me to this stand was the fact that it was molded with a cut back so as to take the spine of a book which does allow the books to be flatter in the center. I like it, and it was a good price. Well recommended..

Sceptical at first. It is stronger than it looks. Holds A4 and A5 paper without a problem. Also holds A4 hardback note book. Can be adjusted.
