It's taking a while to train the puppy reliably to use the equipment, but it is very good when she does. Initially she chewed the mat and wouldn't pee or poo, and I thought it was going to be a complete waste of money. But she is getting used to it and it is extremely useful on my balcony. It is easy to keep clean, a good size for a small dog, convenient to use and to empty.

Its okay, plastic part seems robust but the grass seems very cheap in terms of feel. Stiff and very plasticy.The surface is quite porous which is good cause wee goes down fast.Note. make sure you buy big enough for big puppies as they will have a hard time "target pooping" as its quite awkward for them. 3 month old huskamute would only wee on this as she find it too small and awkward to poop on. No fault of the seller, just letting you guys know.

Hi, I just want to share this with the group as you might find it helpful.my Girlfriend and I have a miniature dachshund Frankie we knew prior to getting her that toilet training would be hard due her breed and to top it off we live on the 4th floor in a flat. So as you can imagine the first few weeks were testing as the whole flat was Frankies toilet and puppy pads were toys to play with.So we googled some ideas and found that dog litter trays are quite popular , we had never heard of them and was unsure if it would work or not. We was desperate for a solution so went on to order. Day one of the tray arriving we we placed Frankie on to get her use to it, after a few hours she took to it like a duck to water. When she used it we gave her loads of praise and high treat rewards which she loved.initially we had it by our balcony back door so Frankie could use it as she pleased. As the weeks have gone and now she can hold her bladder a bit longer we keep it on the balcony and just let her in and out to use it regularly. Frankie will only wee on it, she tends to do her 💩 on the balcony or on our walks, she does do her wees when we bring her on walks at first we was concerned that she may only think she can wee on the tray but she understands she can go outside too.Downsides to it - for Frankie it is a good size however if your dog is big it may struggle, the quality is not great for the money there are more expensive options but this does the job for us. Initially when we had it placed by the back door there was a wee odur so you do have to clean it regularly. The grass is not attached so Frankie did have fun running around with it if left unattended but thankfully she has stopped doing that now. l.

The product it self is of good quality and well made. It seems like a good idea to have a specific place for the dog to go potty however in reality I found it to be a lot of extra work as the grass tend to smell really bad and o find myself washing it 3 to 4 times a day. I expected to be able to just empty the tray as needed and wash the whole unit twice a week but what happens is that due to the strong smell I have to wash the whole thing every time the tray needs emptying.

If you are thinking of getting one of these for a puppy, get one! It’s been brilliant for my puppy. She learnt to use it really easily (we started off using the puppy aid spray but didn’t need it after a while. She is5 months now and uses it when she is left alone at night or during the day. Never has an accident in the house. I use it with puppy pads under the grass but you can use it without as it’s easy to clean. She also learnt to go outside as well, she uses both. It’s been brilliant for us. It’s doesn’t smell until it’s been well used, I have put the grass in the washing machine twice, I’ve had it 3 months. I also put it outside in the rain. You aren’t meant to put in the washing machine as loads of the ‘grass’ comes out. I will buy a replacement piece of grass for it next time. I would recommend

Bought this for our cockapoo puppy. He's not a strong chewer (doesn't even have the strength to squeak his squeaky toys yet) but still managed to eat loads of the plastic grass in no time as it's really loose and falls away in clumps. Had to take it away from him quickly as we were finding astro turf in his stool so God knows how much is still in his stomach.He never did use it for its proper purpose but he did like lying on it. Nothing wrong with the base but the manufacture needs to provide a better quality mat for the top as otherwise it's not safe.

The base is fantastic but the astro turf on top had to go straight in the bin bits were coming off it, definitely a hazard to puppies. I put a puppy pad on top and it works great. They need to find something better than the cheap astro turf
