Not calibrated, useless!
Having used laser bore sighter for another caliber, I felt they were all the same quality. After having a very difficult time sighting a 9mm pistol, I finally decided to check the laser sighter by placing it in a 9mm barrel mounted in vice, not installed in a gun. I then made a mark on the garage wall where the laser dot was shining, then spun the laser sighter while it was in the barrel. If it was true, the dot would have stayed in place, since it wasn't, the dot on my wall moved around in a circle. The sighter was useless. It does not shine straight and will not help to check sight alignment of the gun.

In addition - Good for Point-and-Shoot simulation training
It chambered well in my Ruger LC9s, but it was more accurate placing it in the chamber by hand than having in a magazine and using the slide. It uses just two batteries and comes with for.One of the best uses of it to train with a feel for point-and-shoot without using the sites or ammunition. With the pistol a bit lowered I point to a target point with some stationery object just in front of my barrel blocking the laser red dot from my target point. I can slightly shift off the blocking object and allow the laser red light to travel to the target point. I then see,if i am holding the pistol correctly to hit the target point with the red dot simulating a point-and-shoot. After getting a feel of how to point without using the sites, I find that I can hit the target point regularly without the cost of having to use bullets. It saves ammunition.

Useless
Laser beam is not properly aligned with the axis of the device. This makes it useless for what it is designed. I set the bore sighter in a v slot on a flat table, then rotated the bore sighter 360 degrees. 1/2 way it was pointing on the table, 180 degree out the beam was completely off the table.

Laser angel and location not center
Not very accurate at all. If you roll the Bore Sight cartridge along a table top so that the dot is on a wall. The dot shows a curved scallop line instead of a straight line proving that the laser is not in the center of the cartridge.

There is no on or off... only screw the batteries loose. Still, it lasts a long time with the battery compared to others of this type.

Doesn't work
Don't buy. I put in the batteries as instructed (except 2 instead of 3). The laser came on for a second and went out. I put in the other two batteries and the same thing. I went and bought more batteries and a cost of $6.50 and the same thing. The light comes on and immediately goes out. I returned.

Not even close to being accurate. Cartridge does not fit all the way into the barrel so the bolt does not close completely so the laser is pointing high well above the sight line. .
