HIGH SENSITIVE MOTION DETECTOR Build-in smart motion sensor, which will help the LED night light to turn on when movement in the darkness is detected. It will automatically illuminate walking spaces with an integrated PIR sensor, without having to reach for the manual light switch. MULTI-PURPOSE LIGHT It can be used as night led, a portable flashlight, and an emergency lighting device in the event of power outage. WIRELESS CHARGING The magnetic inductive charging is designed for a wireless charging without cables, is safe to use around young children. Just grab the LED light whenever you need it, as a carry-on lighting device. When you are done using it, simply put it back the LED light in the magnetic charging base. POWER BUTTON: MODES When the device is plugged in the charging base, it will work as an automatic motion sensor night light. The power button in this case can only turn off the device, or turn it on again the night light mode. When the device is used outside the charging base as a flashlight, the power button will have 3 functions. It will switch the flashlight, front light, and turn the device off. ENERGY EFFICIENT The LED night light will turn off automatically when no motion is detected after 25 seconds, in order reduce unnecessary power consumption.

Excellent - Had Power Outage 18 Hours After These Arrived!
Within 18 hours of plugging these in, I had a power outage - what timing! These worked exactly as they should, and were so helpful. I highly recommend this brand and model and I've mentioned some helpful tips and information below. They are light weight, fit snug in their harness, and do not detract from a living space. They also have lithium batteries which are stronger, last longer, do not have memory to ensure a maximum charge compared to the cheap nickel battery types. But there is one quirk - these do not come with any instructions (so I provided them below to those curious).Consider a scenario like mine - I bought 2 of these for my tri-level home: one is in my main floor (living/dining area), and the other is in my garage. I witnessed the power go out early this morning from a loud storm. My curiosity led me to see if these units were working and they were. The power outage light is the front-facing night light, which is fairly bright. I took the one from the main floor's harness to venture to the garage and toggled it to flashlight mode. The garage was nicely lit with the other unit, which made it easy for me to walk to the electric panel, and with my flashlight in hand I could easily attempt toggling the main power line to see if that could get my power back. In summary, these are great to have in pairs for situations like what I described.I am pretty tech-savvy, and figured out the modes fairly quick, so here is my summary of instructions: upon plugging these in, the night light turns on. This is the default mode for motion detection when it is dark as well as for emergency outage mode (the light will eventually turn off, and be in stand-by mode when it is dark to assist as a motion detection night light, etc.). If you do not want motion detection on, and only want this to turn on during a power outage, turn 'off' the light (while it is on) when it is sitting in its harness upon plugging it in. Pretty simple. Next, pressing the on/off button when the unit is out of its harness toggles between the night light to flashlight to off. You have to repeat the steps mentioned above when placing it back on the harness to suit your stand-by preference.Hope this was helpful!

Good, but not great...
This device works well; however, not as well as the "Deckey 8 LED High Power Up Down Wall Lamp Spot Light Sconce Lighting (BD03)", which I also purchased at the same time I bought the TunLED. When I 1st plugged it in, it worked very well, consistently sensing movement from a good distance away; however, over time, it seemed to loose some of its' sensitivity. Now, it appears to intermittently sense movement from varying distances..., sometimes very near (2 or 3 feet) and sometime var far (10 or 12 feet). I'm not sure why? I've cleaned the sensor, unplugged and plugged it back in without success. The TunLED is fickle and inconsistent. It is very bright, and works well; but not as well as the Deckey. Great multi-function light
I was looking for something exactly like this, after I used a similar one in the bathroom bowl. It works very well, and it is very bright. I can use as a flash light, or simply leave it connected for two uses: it would turn on in case of blackout (haven't actually tried because those are rare), but most importantly to walk around safely when is dark. The lamp turns on automatically when is dark and when it senses motion, which is just what I needed. I tried others before, but they turn on even when there is light, as they just sense motion, which was not what I wanted. The quality is very good, and I highly recommend it.

Flashlight, nightlight & emergency light all in one
Whenever the power goes out this little guy will come on. It can also be used as nightlight and a flashlight. I have bought other products like this and none have even come close. This one works greasy. It won’t disappoint.

Very Bright
A bit annoying because it is SO bright when it pops on, but getting use to it. It works great but, it does cover the whole outlet. So needs to go where you don't plan to use that outlet for anything else, unless you remove the light.

It/s a nice light. I just thought it would stay on
It/s a nice light. I just thought it would stay on, in the low mode, when it was dark. That is not the case. It only comes on with motion.

Did not charge out of the box
Light would not charge. Customer service was good directed me to return the product. I did but purchased a different light instead.

Works like a champ
Works like a champ! Initial use was questionable but impressive customer service responses isolated and resolved my issues. Ambient light was preventing the motion sensor from working which is the way it is designed!
