The Star Tron with the WHITE cap is formulated to treat 16 gallons per ounce. The Star Tron with the RED cap is formulated to treat 6 gallons per ounce. The White cap is the Concentrated formula that is ideal for treating large amounts of fuel such as a big boat's fuel tank or a big SUV fuel tank, while the Red cap version is more convenient to treat smaller amounts of fuel such as a motorcycle or ATV fuel tank or the 5-gallon can of gas in the garage to fuel the lawnmower. **Q: What is the shelf life of the Star Tron product itself?** A: The treatment itself has no expiration date as long as it's stored properly. But fuel treated with Star Tron should last 2 years. **Q: Will this clean a varnished tank, I plan to add this to 5g gas let it sit for a couple days and drain, will that help ?** A: Yes, this will absolutely help to break down that varnish and remove any build up. **Q: Do i add this directly to my snowblower's has tank or to the full gas container then fill up the tank?** A: You normally add to your equipment tank prior to filling it. Helps mix it. That's presuming your filling the tank prior to starting your equipment. You want the fuel and Star Tron mix to flow thru whole fuel system for it to work properly. I don't know your knowledge of gas engine fuel system, so that being said the fuel system includes your fuel tank, fuel lines, filter and carburetor or fuel injector. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Fast delivery *by L***A on July 15, 2026* I’ve been buying this stuff for years. I knew it had to be good if the friends I learned about this product from were using it in their boats. I was not disappointed. I’ve used it for several years now in my snowblower and my ride on mower and every season these machines start right up reliably. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ It even works on old gas to bring it back to life! *by F***N on June 26, 2026* Poured 4oz in a 97k mile MZR 2.3l DI turbo "parts car" tank that was 1/4 full and had been parked from what the previous owner had said "years" so guessing 3 years minimum by the blackberry bramble, water level in the trunk and paint condition. Let it slosh around for the 2 hr trailer ride home, then after a health check reluctantly tried to fire it up thinking the gas had to be as bad as the paint and mold condition. I was blown away when it fired up first crank, and even idled down no issues. It's possible the PO had put some gas treatment in it prior to "it just stopped running" (when it was only a bad battery) but I didn't find any clues amognst the mold. I give it all to Star Tron and their Enzyme Fuel Treatment. My father used it in all of our boats and never had any issues with water during storage in the PNW. I swear by this stuff now for any project car in the future and to clean up the e15 that is now in all the pumps. ## Frequently Bought Together - Star Tron Enzyme Fuel Treatment - Small Engine Formula - 16 Oz Treats up to 96 Gals, Gas Additive Rejuvenates & Stabilizes Old Gasoline, Cures & Prevents Ethanol Problems, Improves MPG (014316) - STA-BIL Fast Fix - Small Engine Treatment, Cleans Carburetors and Injectors, Fixes Rough Running Engines, Eliminates Water, Treats Up to 20 Gallons, 8oz (22304) , Green - STA-BIL Storage Fuel Stabilizer | Keeps Fuel Fresh for 24 Months, Prevents Corrosion, Gasoline Treatment Fuel Additive that Protects Fuel System, Gas Stabilizer for Fuel Storage, 32 oz. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.be/products/47834363-143-series-small-engine-formula](https://www.desertcart.be/products/47834363-143-series-small-engine-formula) --- *Product available on Desertcart Belgium* *Store origin: BE* *Last updated: 2026-10-23*
