Manufacturer is right about these magnets. They are super strong - hard to pull them apart when the two bars are stuck to each other. One disappointing part is that when the two bars collide because of strong such force, one of them breaks. I'm thinking this is supposed to be also 'strong' metal, not so brittle that the bar just breaks in half like that.

Perfect for use with Misti Stamping Tool
I bought these to replace my round magnets in my Misti stamping tool and they work fabulously. Super strong magnets that hold my cardstock down even with brand new solid stamps. These are the perfect size for the misti because they still allow the door to close. I put washi tape on my to make it easier to pick up when I needed too.

Magnets are almost too strong -when two of them pull together they are a little dangerous. Very difficult to pull apart and can pinch part of your finger as they snap together. Definitely not for children.
