It is important to have illustration instead of theory that flees in confrontation. This book has illustration and historical insight with some training methodology.

Follows his usual patters of: theory, history,then a structured elaboration of technique. This 108 form is the Vietnamese version. This book done in drawings-and non the worse for being so. Though not a fan of the wooden dummy myself - perhaps because I do not have the space to own one-it is an insightful exposition. Best read after his other works.
