This is the one to get for your U-87!
Buying this made me kick myself for spending 10 times as much buying the one from Neumann. It's freaking identical, comes with extra elastics, and is 1/10th the price. No worries about it holding my vintage U-87. Well made and just smart.

Solid mount
Very solid mount, it works for my Neumann U87 andI use it in my VO studio every single day and have never had a single problem with it. It mounts easily, is nice and sturdy, and is well worth the money.

As Someone That Owned The Neumann's Shock Mount, This Is a Great Alternative!
I recently purchased this shock mount for my 27 year old vintage TLM 103 mt due to me losing my Neumann shock mount while on tour. This shock mount is built very well, & seems to be holding up great so far. 4.5/5

Best alternative to OEM Neumann shock mounts.
Great price for a solid shock mount, fits my Neumann TLM 102 perfectly! I 100% recommend this shock mount for any TLM 102/3 owners looking for a shock mount!

I trust this A LOT!
The media could not be loaded. The design is metal and solid with spare elastic bands!Itโs easy to set up, and the knob to stabilize it in place is extremely firm.I think this 100% is identical to the OEM shock mount without obviously buying it directly from Neumann.I almost. ALMOST spent $345 on the new one but I wanted to try this one first before I put that much dough down on a SHOCKMOUNT.I understand that some of you feel that buying the OEM model is the necessary investment for a mic of this caliber, and I completely agree and understand. BUT, this comes second to none and itโs probably the exact same people who manufactured it for Neumann to sell it for $400, are the same one we get to purchase from on Amazon for $50. Who knows! What I know is this is gonna hang out with me like I just got the original model because it fit my U87ai like a glove! I highly suggest you give it a try before you go down the pricey route.

perfect replacement for U87 shock mount
so far it works great and fits the U87ai perfectly, seems sturdy and way cheaper than buying the Neumann version.
