I purchased these to extend my Lorex cameras further from the dvr throughout my house. I plugged these into cat-6 cable and they have been working just fine for 1.5 years so far. Small enough I've tucked them out of the way as well.

For several years we had issues with running cat-5E with 2mp and above cameras. We would from time to time experience wavy lines on the monitors. Nothing that we did changed this. On our last installation, we experienced the same problem so we decided to try these video Baluns. “Presto”, all wavy lines were gone. We went back to other cameras and changed the video Baluns to this type and same deal, all wavy lines gone. Folks, on any new camera installation be it ip or analog, it is best to use cat-5e or cat 6. When using either of these two cables, if you install these video Baluns, the video will be very clear. I have purchase 8 so far and same deal, all cameras now have excellent pictures

I installed a 5MP camera 500ft from my house using a Cat5 cable with separate BNC and power connectors. The picture I got was not great even after fine tuning. A wavy line moved over the picture and it was a little grainy. Found this adapter, had to add an Ethernet contact. Then I replaced the BNC and power adapter with this balun, I got a perfect picture. Can highly recommend it. I used self vulcanizing tape on the the balun and connectors to get them weatherproof.

Easy install and working great for my security cameras.

This adapters are perfectly fits my newly wired camera system.It is very easy to install and compatible for my newly built house. Worth buying 5MP BNC to RJ45 Adapter which added advanced feature internally. It's very Easy to install and very easy to use

With these kinds of things, that's not always the case. Quality good, highly recommend.

Easy to connect to network cable and then to security cameras. Makes everything easy.
