We purchased this in medium for our 5 month old son (about 17 lbs., 27 inches long). It looked huge but fits him surprisingly well. We went with the medium since he was so close to being too long for the small. As other reviewers have mentioned, the zipper is on the stiff side and makes a hump in the fabric. We use a hair tie to take up the slack to keep the fabric away from his face, as demonstrated by other reviewers.This sleep sack isn't perfect (they need to revisit the design or the materials to eliminate or mitigate the hump effect if possible) but it has helped us transition our son out of the Rock N Play (a bad nighttime habit that we gave into during the 4 month sleep regression--whatever works, right?) and back into his crib. I wouldn't say that the zipadee-zip makes him sleep LONGER, but he's back to sleeping in his crib all night instead of needing the cuddle-factor of the Rock N Play, and that's awesome.The zipadee-zip keeps his hands warm at night, but still allows him to chew on his hands through the fabric. The starfish shape lets him move around but helps inhibit his startle reflex when he's falling asleep.There are more colors/patterns available on their website than on Amazon--it would be nice to see more options here.

My baby never liked to keep her arms/hands in when being swaddled. This sleep sack was the perfect solution to allow her the mobility she wanted, while keeping her hands warm. It’s light weight so we put pajamas on under it. It’s pricy so I haven’t ordered a second one yet, but we’ve been happy with it.

Love this Zipadee! My daughter was not sleeping so well now that we couldn’t swaddle her arms in, so this has been the perfect transition from the swaddle! She sleeps so well again!

This product is amazing! My son is 4 months old and couldn’t sleep without being swaddled but yet every time he would wake up the first thing he would do was break out of his swaddle. This not only woke him up more frequently but also it became a safety issue. From day 1 using this product he has slept perfectly and there is no longer a safety concern! I just ordered two more!

I was hesitant to purchase but it helped my baby sleep through the night. I completely believe in these now.

My son usually takes 30-60 minute naps, but with this, he can go to 90 min. Like many reviewers have said, the zipper does seem too long and tends to bunch up. It has not gone over my baby's face, but I can easily see how it could. My biggest annoyance is that we purchased a thinner summer version and it pilled and looked dirty and old after the first washing. For almost $40, I expected more value.
