EMS Rescue Trauma Shears 7 1/4

These are nice they were purchased to to have a dedicated pair of sicossers on hand for a wound im dealing with. They work great for this. They are a little light weight to be used on Seatbelts and what not most pro shears can do So if you are an EMT looking for a great pair might look elsewhere.

I have had no problems with these shears, they cut through cloth well. However, in the description it says they have a "special edge that has custom cylinder turner built into it". Maybe I misunderstood this description, but I thought that it meant it would allow me to open oxygen cylinders which would be really convenient. When I received these shears they had no such "special edge". The shears are fine, but they aren't special.

Very functional sheers and a very affordable price. They may not be the best or longest lasting sheering but the way these seem to disappear at work it is the cheapest option going.

These shears are a little bigger then I thought. The blades do not look a tough as I thought they would be, but they are good for an emergency situation.

These are not the best quality nor are they the worst, you get what you pay for, very appropriate for the price. They do the job quite nicely I wasn't disappointed at all.

Have used twice and they work as they should. Only issue I had is that I ordered black and received blue...

These truely do as they say. I have had shears that say EMT on them and barely cut through cardboard. These truly can cut pennies. Only thing I have noticed is that the handles are plastic and when using them a lot or for tough jobs they get a bit lose. But for the price they can't be beat.

I purchased 10 of these for the ER I work in. It seems like every time someone needs a pair of trauma sheers, nobody has any. I have stashed a pair in every room (and several in other places). They are inexpensive, good quality and autoclavable if they come in contact with potentially infectious bodily fluids. A great find!!
