Believe the hype!
I have a Fender Paramount 000 mahogany guitar and I’ve struggled to get it to sound good. I’m a life long user of D’Addario Phosphor Bronze light strings and they sound great on every guitar I have except this one. I was going to chalk it up to this being not “the one” as far as guitars go. I saw an ad for Stringjoy and decided to give it a shot as it was easier than selling the Fender and explaining to my better half why I needed another guitar. So glad I did. The difference in tone was immediate. The 80/20 strings don’t sound at all metallic and bring out the tones that I was expecting from a solid mahogany guitar. The entire body of the guitar vibrates now and it sounds so fantastic. This is also the first set of strings that I’ve ever had that doesn’t go out of tune dramatically after installing. Every set needs a break in period before they hold tune but these needed about an hour of play and they’re good to go. It’s really a testament to the quality of these strings. String fatigue doesn’t kick in on these for me the same way that it does with the D’Addarios I use either. I’m amazed! Stringjoy is way more expensive than other brands. I bought a 3 pack of my usuals in 80/20 for the same price as one set of these. I can hands down say that the quality of these strings justifies the cost. Stringjoy has a convert!

You have to try these strings!
I have really enjoyed these strings, my first foray into the Stringjoy world. I put these on a Martin 000-10e sapele, with tremulous hands I might add, and was really happy with the sound. A touch brighter, great sustain and a bit easier on the finger picking. Loved them. Will def try their other style. Excellent quality.

Sold on Stringjoy
Went to Stringjoy strings about 3 years ago and love their tone and durability. They cost a bit more than some brands but the tone stays good longer, so it’s worth it. I usually get Naturals, which are a bit warmer and mellower than these, but thought I would try the brighter sounding ones. Definitely noticeable difference in tone, these have more of a ringing, clearer tone. I like both, comes down to personal preference. Definitely sold on the brand and now have them on all of my guitars.

"Eureka, Finally!"
I bought an FS830 Yamaha acoustic guitar early in 2019. It had an incredibly rich, deep sound with excellent lows, highs and mid-range sounds. Then I changed the strings after a few months and the guitar completely lost its depth of sound, leaving a weak sounding guitar (many members on the Acoustic Guitar Forum confirm this same experience). "I tried every imaginable brand and size of strings and I could still not replicate the original sound, until now with the STRINGJOY Bright Brass Acoustic Strings!" Here is the reason why: By doing extensive research I discovered that the Yamaha factory installs "Brass Strings" on Yamaha Acoustic Guitars, but they do not sell these Brass strings in the USA. No one sells Brass Strings in the USA (with but a few inferior exceptions). When I discovered STRINGJOY Bright Brass Acoustic Strings on Amazon I immediately ordered them, got them quickly and installed them today. "Wow! My great sounding Yamaha is back! I not only got back my depth of sound back with excellent Lows, Mids, and Highs, but the overall sound quality and volume is actually better." (Note: When I get some time on these strings I will be able to update this review and evaluate Longevity.) "Thank you STRINGJOY for giving me back my great sounding Yamaha!"

So Far So Good
Just installed these Bright Brass lights on a Martin D-41, on which I normally use medium D'Addario or Martin strings. They sound as good as any other quality brand I've used, and the brightness of these bronze strings seem to balance out the heavier bass tendencies of the D-41. The lights do not seem to have too much negative impact on the D-41's projection or tone (compared to mediums). Time will tell if they are worth 2 1/2 times the cost of other quality strings. I tend to change strings every 6 to 8 weeks on my two guitars that I play the most (every day, at least an hour or two). I'll be installing a set of Stringjoy Phosphor Bronze mediums on an older Simon & Patrick (actually a very nice guitar for the $500 range) and we'll see how those do. Lights have never sounded very good on this S&P, so I stick with the mediums (not surprising that the lights do not do well on the S&P compared to the D-41, considering the vast difference in construction, quality, and materials - and price- between the two!). I'll try to follow up after playing these strings for a few weeks and update this review. Update May 25: The Bright Brass Lights are still holding up fine. Might decide to replace them with the Stringjoy Phosphor Bronze. The lights play well but I miss the deep lows of a medium string. All in all, the Stringjoy strings are high quality but not sure yet if they are sufficiently better than D'Addario to justify the increased cost.

Great string, but not liking the new shipping charge.
Love these strings!! A friend from the states put me on to them over a year ago. The sound great and last long. Only thing is now they seem to be charging shipping that is almost as much as the strings!! They are not available here in Canada unless through their website or Amazon. Looks like I will be trying some Ernie Ball strings. Really sad about that. If it wasn't for that it would be a 5 star review!

Awesome strings…
I Use 80/20 Bronze light gauge on my Gibson J-200, tried several brands including Elexir nanowebs (great strings btw…), d’addario XT, and will be giving John Pearse a try shortly (heard great things about them). My J-200 is a warm bodied guitar and needs a bright string so compared to my other acoustics; no Phosphor Bronze for this guitar… ;-) I just installed these Stringjoy’s, they are the brightest and most balanced set yet with tons of sustained bass and balanced mids, they are untreated (compared to my #2 Elexir’s) and the only test remaining is longevity… I must say that the 54 gauge low E string is a bonus for me, usually 53 gauge is the standard for lights. These strings sound fantastic! They are my numero uno!… Kudos to Stringjoy

Excellent Strings
These are the only strings that can go on my 12-string without putting too much tension in the bridge. They sound great. With other brands, I had to tune a 1/2 step down. With these, I can tune in standard tuning without any tension issues.
