Mads Mikkelsen: The Art of Dori Hartley Paperback – November 5, 2015

Ms. Hartley is a very talented artist. She has such a diverse variety in her work. It’s very rare and impressive to see in a professional artist. Of course, her muse is the best the world has to offer. Mads Mikkelsen shines under any light, whether it be his bright and beautiful smile he wears on an off camera sunny day or on the darker side as the highly intelligent, well-dressed, stickler for manners, serial killer, professional chef and debonair cannibal Hannibal Lector. This book was a present from my husband and it is amazing. Anyone who is mesmerized by Mads and enjoys beautiful portraits each in a different perspective, should definitely buy this book. I love it.

I thoroughly enjoy Ms. Hartley's work and this latest collection is AWESOME. She combines color with facial expression to conveyfeeling to her portraits. Anyone who appreciates Mr. Mikkelsen and HANNIBAL will need this book. I highly recommend this artistand any of her books/works without hesitation.

Bought this as a birthday gift for my boyfriend, who is a huge Hannibal fan, and it was definitely a hit.

Dori is a great talent. I have enjoyed her many talents for decades.

Compré este libro con una idea bastante general y al momento 'obvia' de lo que sería. No podía haber estado más equivocada; lo que pensé que serían un par de retratos del actor, resultaron ser un cúmulo de cuasi pinturas obviamente calcadas de fotografías existentes pero mal formadas más allá del reconocimiento. Pero eso no fue lo peor, lo peor fue la GRAN cantidad de las mismas cuasi ilustraciones modificadas, calcadas y sobrepuestas para crear escenas obscenas sin ningún valor artístico y una horrible composición. La única razón por la que no devuelvo esto es porque definitivamente voy a recortar el (literal) par de ilustraciones semi decentes y guardarlas. Mi peor compra.
