Wakou Japanese Soup Base35.27oz By KC Commerce (Tonkotsu Ramen Base ( Pork & Chicken Broth))

The broth taste just like authentic restaurant ramen, Ive been to Japan before and this really have that pork broth taste, I dont think I will go to a ramen house if I can get this everytime 😬

I’ve been using it now for several months. Although it doesn’t really need it, I dress it up with red miso, tahini, mirin, black garlic, and whatever else I have on hand. I’ve reordered a packet. Just a tablespoon at the bottom of the bowl, add hot water and you’ve got restaurant style tonkotsu soup right at home. I love it!

I'm a Ramen freak. I've spent entire visits to Tokyo obsessing only on Ramen. I learned how to make it at home, but needless to say, it takes a long time and dedication. However, this base is so good, that for the most part, I no longer feel I need to go through the process every time. I still do, but a lot less.The one thing it doesn't provide is the "oomph" of the gelatin found in the real thing, so I add it back, as unflavored gelatine myself. That get's me as close as possible to the real thing with virtually no effort whatsoever.

CAVEAT EMPTOR: The exterior of the package is clearly marked "KEEP REFRIGERATED"—not "Refrigerate after opening". Yet it was delivered un-refrigerated. My assumption is that I will die if I eat it.
