Brushed Aluminum Wall Tiles Square

I purchased the aluminum squares and triangles for a backsplash in my kitchen. I read the other reviews about adding some glue or mortar in addition to the adhesive tabs as backup and ended up putting a drop of Krazy Glue on every tile just to be on the safe side. I'll re-write this review if I hear the tiles popping off in the night.I also agree with the reviews that, while the tiles are thin and easy to cut with kitchen scissors, the edges are incredibly sharp. I ended up with numerous slices on nearly every one of my fingers merely from holding the edges while trying to maneuver the tiles into place. Finger slices from metal are no fun, so use caution--or maybe even wear thin latex gloves when putting these up (though it's possible the metal will cut through those, too).All-in-all, this was an extremely easy project, with some extra time needed to cut tiles to fit into corners or awkward spaces. Highly recommended!

Very highly recommended wall tiles for making a backsplash! They look so beautiful, and are well worth the time to put them up! The come stacked in little cardboard boxes, like playing cards.The tiles have beveled edges (the four sides tuck downward in a bevel, which means that the four edges touch the wall, but the middle part doesn't). So don't try glue or a tile adhesive mounting mesh (yes this is hard experience talking).The big warning: the foam adhesive it comes with is, in a word, cheap. I wasted so many squares, and applied ALL of the squares four (4!) different times (talk about frustrating)! That's where the glue and tile mesh came in. The thing that worked was to use my own double sided foam tape (got it at Home Depot, it's a roll that has green printing on the outside, in the painting area). With that, it stays up great and looks *AMAZING*! I haven't had a tile drop to the floor since.We have gotten so many compliments on the backsplash and (knowing how much it costs to buy similar tiles at Home Depot or Lowes) they think it cost a lot more than it did. Mwahahahaaa!Cuts easily with scissors.If they gets splashed with water or grease, a quick wipe with a towel gets them nice and shiny again.

I love the way my kitchen backsplash looks with these. Very easy to cut. I was not able to see the VERY subtle grain of the tiles until they were on the wall, so mine are random, but still looks nice. I live in an older house, so nothing is square. This means I need some type of trim for where the tile meets the kitchen counter. Still trying to figure this out. Also, it would be nice to have a corner trim and an edge trim. It did take longer than I expected to install, but that was because I only had one row of whole tiles and had to cut for above and below. I only used the adhesive supplied, and have had to go back on some of the tiles and add additional adhesive. Overall, I recommend this product and am quite pleased with the results.

This was a great alternative to stainless and a lot less expensive. They did cut easy, but was a lot more time consuming to put up than I thought.I word of warning though........ I put them up with constuction glue like a lot of the reviews said, but I discovered that after they dried the glue had shrunk and dented the tiles. I put a dab in the corners and one in the middle, and you can see every spot. The remaining tiles I filled in with glue and they seemed okay when they dried.If you are going to use the glue I would suggest all or nothing.

These tiles look really great, but unlike other reviewers, I had a problem getting them to stick. They come with double sided sticky squares which are easy to use, but the tiles started loosening/lifting after just one day. Per some of the other reviews, I just purchased some liquid nails and hope that will do the trick. They seem to be easy to clean which is a plus in the kitchen. Just need to solve the sticking problem, and I'll be all set!

I purchased these and the triangle version so we could criss cross them. We found the provided adhesive was enough to hold the tiles if applied in the 4 corners. In fact, when I put one on crooked, I pulled it off and took some sheetrock with it. Agree and you should alternate the grain, but unfortunately the triangle tiles you couldn't do that because the grain only ran one way. We did have to make some cut, and purchased a tin snips to do so, it does distort the tile a bit if you're not quick with your snips. When you do cut them, you have to bevel the edges so they match the rest... keep that in mind.

I bought these for a backsplash in a rental unit. Once installed they look great but can be a little difficult to work with. They didn't install very well until I went to Home Depot and got some high quality double-stick tape and used a bunch of on each tile. It's important to use the tape on the top, middle and bottom, otherwise the tile won't adhere evenly. Also, make sure you have a good pair of sharp tin snips for cutting, otherwise they deform when cutting them.

I bought these tiles to replace a section of stainless film on my dishwasher that just always seems to bubble up. I have not applied these yet - but the tiles themselves are of good quality, match my other real stainless appliances and works well with the stainless film on the top of the dishwasher. I realize that i may need extra adhesive but as long as i know that - i'm sure there will be no problem. I did already lay this out to check for fit and look & they work perfectly - no more bubbling up!!!! Great product
