Review: Great meter, comes with good instruction sheet! - I've purchased several of these type meters. This one was different in a good way. First, IN THE BOX, it arrived with a single page, color diagram showing how to connect the meter, how to reset the meter and how to interpret the current (when neg flow). The text was in good sentences. The opening was large enough to pass over a 1/0 wire AND the lug. Out of the box, the current reading and voltage reading agreed with my calibrated meter. I'm using it on a 48V solar system to track inverter charge current and battery voltage (independent of the inverter) and its working great. No need for a separate 12V supply, it works directly off the range of voltage (45V to 58V).
Review: Incredibly useful! - Accurate and easy to install, just hook it to your battery and run your hot cable through the sensor. I use it on my motorcycle and it clearly shows my voltage and draw/charging status. Went a little bonkers when I drove through a downpour but started working again once it dried out. If you have any questions about your charging system get this meter!

**Q: Can the unit handle short period inrush current over 100A?
And why not allow remote reset button?**
A: Yes. It won't damage the meter with the short period current over 100A.

**Q: How long is the shorter CT cable? Only the length of the longer cable is listed.**
A: The length of the short CT cable is 5.9inch(15cm).

**Q: I see how you can zero the current measurement, but my voltage measurement is off by a full 0.5V. How is the voltage measurement calibrated?**
A: Please follow the instructions below to reset the voltage value to factory setting and it should solve the prolem.  If not, please click the link of "ask seller" in your order details to get a replacement.

How to reset the voltage value to factory setting:
Press and hold the back button for 6 seconds then release the button. And it will display "5HH" on the screen.

**Q: does this work with lead acid and lithium batteries ?**
A: You can measure any DC 5~100V 100A power source with this meter no matter what type of your battery.

Need to be really good at stripping insulation off VERY small wires. it works really good and accurate. Also soldering the tiny wires is a chore, but can be done.
