Wonderful for my DIY projects!
Mmm shea butter hahaha. This is a huge chunk of shea butter like really big lol. It comes in 2 bags one if a plastic bag to contain the mess that it could become and another to store it in to preserve it as much as possible away from the light and elements. I have never had unrefined shea butter I'm not sure if this was what I expected lol but I wanted to try making some DIY things that required shea butter. I love that its organic and pure, this way I know exactly what I'm working with. It is harder then I expected not so hard that you can't beat it into a soft creamy submission. Cutting it is pretty easy I just scoop it out with a spoon or knife. If you are measuring it its a little hard to do so. I suggest you either make it soft them measure it out or measure it by weight.The smell is pretty intense no bad intense just strong. I was able to get rid of it though by adding essential oils and other thing in my DIY adventures. Once its all mixed up the smell isn't noticeable. I used this to make Dragons blood butter which was a lot of fun as well as a stretch mark cream for one of my pregnant friends. Next I want to try a whipped butter. It is very thick and heavy on the skin if you major ingredient is the Shea butter. However it leaves your skin feeling so moisturized and hydrated. After using my DIY products my skin feels so smooth and looks way better. I will have a lot of fun using this in my DIY projects, I feel its a very good quality sea butterI received this product at a discounted price in exchange for my honest and unbiased review.
