T-Track or also know as T-Slot is a great way to create your own jigs for wood or metal-working. This T-Track is positioned into a slot that you cut with a Dado blade on a table saw or cut with a router. Can be used with CNC router tables, Table saw, drill presses and many other things. This clear anodized aluminum track has pre-drilled holes three inches on center. Use #8 pan head screws to secure your track into your groove. The exterior size of the track is exactly 0.725" wide by 0.44" high. This track is used to lock down stops, clamps, feather boards and others items to make working on your item easier, secure and safer. This track allows you to slide a ¼”-20 Hex Head Bolt along the track. We also carry knobs, bolts and T-track Intersections.

No complaints using this to build a work surface. Just take note that it is designed for 1/4-20 bolt heads to slip inside the track which is narrower than typical t-rack. This makes it easier to make your own jigs/clamps but most off-the-shelf accessories have to be ground down to fit. I consider this an advantage and have shaved down a few OTS parts with a carbide bit on a dremel with no problem. I can make my own hold downs for less than a dollar instead of paying $10 or more. This one was the least expensive option when I was searching but does not appear to be any lesser quality.
