Review: Silky results but poor design - I was initially sceptical that raw silk gloves would make much of a difference, but I was pleasantly surprised by how smooth and exfoliated my skin felt after using these. The exfoliation was gentle yet effective, and the gloves felt quite nice against the skin. Unfortunately, the product's biggest flaw is its design and durability. The seams tore after the very first use, which was extremely disappointing. In hindsight, perhaps I shouldn't have expected exceptional quality at this price point, but I still expected them to last longer than a single use. I suspect the unusual shape is partly to blame. Rather than being designed as simple mittens, the gloves have an awkward finger-splitting shape that doesn't fit the hand naturally. This puts unnecessary strain on the seams when putting them on and using them, which likely contributed to them coming apart so quickly. While the exfoliating performance exceeded my expectations, the poor construction and impractical design mean I can't recommend this product.
