Warmachine: Escalation

I bought this for a couple of bucks for some inspiration for terrain and painting schemes. The ark work is fantastic, the story is decent enough and the picture of the models in different backgrounds are nicely done.

Though the content in this book has been superseded by MK2, this is still a great read. I wish Privateer Press would release an anthology of all the background, stories and more from these books.

Basic Game Rules.

That's right, I don't actually play WARMACHINE. However, as a big fan of the models and style of writing I found the book to be well worth its price. The "fluff" as we call it (that is, non-rules related material) is excellent. Privateer Press has an incredible set of writers and artists. That said, I can't say if it actually adds to the game. I just enjoy reading this sort of thing.
