I'm not sure if the internal battery can be replaced as I bought it for someone **Q: My dad is pretty deaf so was wondering how loud this is? Thanks** A: I find it's quite loud and I've never had any trouble hearing it but my hearing is pretty good. If he has a hearing aid I don't think he will have any problems. If he does not hear it well enough make sure you buy it from a company that accepts returns and you won't lose your money.
