Emoji dancing color changing light show water speaker usb power

The speaker on this isn't loud at all. My phone alone produces higher sound. Disappointed. Was given to my child for a Christmas gift and it's a total waste.

The lights work, but no sound? It pauses the music on device when you plug it in?
