## Description

Don’t struggle with rolled up grid maps! This 19” x 28” board trifolds to an easily portable 9.5” x 19”size. This affordable board is dry erase AND magnetic receptive (meaning magnets will stick to it). Create your own fantasy landscape with magnet sheeting and dry erase markers (sold separately). This durable board arrives to you already folded and shrinkwrapped on a thick sheet of 100 pt chipoboard, just open up the package, unfold the board and you are ready to play! The light gray lines form a grid of 1” x 1” squares that are compatible with all types of games. You can even attach magnets to the bottoms of figures to create a sturdy play surface (nice for the DM when the characters get rambunctious!). This board is very thin, about 1mm thick, but it is strong since it is made with a three thin pieces of solid steel in the center of each panel.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: How difficult would it be to trim down if I wanted to make it smaller?**
A: It's pretty thick, so you couldn't just use a pair of kitchen scissors, but if you had some heavy duty scissors, you could probably trim it down. Might be easier on the folds where it's thinner. However, if you did cut it, I think the edges would be ragged.

**Q: Would this be strong enough for a child to use magnets (e.g. ABC magnets) on in a vertical position?**
A: Yes, that's basically what I bought mine for and it works really well.

**Q: does the dry erase work?  does it clean the marks completely?**
A: The dry erase surface is made from a polypropylene film which works very well with most dry/damp erase markers.  We use this film in all of our educational products that are dry erase.

**Q: Can you spray paint it a different color, I want to make something completely different (like a ice skating pond for a 18 inch doll) ?**
A: The surface of our board has a poly laminate film so spray paint probably won’t stick. I think you would need a plain paper magnetic board in order for paint to stick to the surface .

    Perfect size for the D&D starter kit maps

I am new to D&D, and thought that this would be useful. The magnetic aspect works just fine on everywhere except the folding seams and the outside edges (I believe there is a metal plate in each of the tri-fold segments), though I haven't really used it for this. I already had whiteboard cleaning spray and it cleans up good as new. Furthermore, it has just the right number of squares for the D&D starter kit. It has been perfect for my needs.

I was looking for a magnetic dry erase board with a grid for gaming and this works perfectly, I had a dry erase magnetic board already but it didn't have a grid which is a must for combat!  so far I'm happy with my purchase, this board is very lightweight, it's pretty thin but as long as you aren't doing anything crazy with it, it should last.

I was planning on this being a little more rigid and being able to hold its self up on the easel, but sadly the folding creases make it impossible to keep it standing or pull the magnet characters off of it without it fumbling around.it works but not for what i was hoping it would do.
