these are built well and durable... only complaint was the design for conecting wire is scetchy. no screw mounts.. still not actaully aware of how they connect (solder, direct push in, crimp...).

Seal for wire could be better but over all, what i needed.

They are cheap and they feel cheap but I expected that. They work. They use spring connections instead of screws, which I don't trust...but there is room to get a soldering iron in there so no big deal. They say they are for DIY projects...I think it would be more appropriate to say they are for maker/hacker projects. I wouldn't use these in a custom lamp or as hanging kitchen lights or anything like that...they look too cheap. Actually, I wouldn't use them for hanging at all since they use spring clip connectors that just pull out far too easily for any hanging application.

Does the job, but quality is poor. Parts crack/break very easily.

Two of these arrived broken but they seem to be made of really flimsy plastic-not bakelite- so I probably wouldn't have used them anyhow. Also they don't have screw terminals just a push in wire connection which I feel might be problematic.
