So at first I was really disappointed with this unit it kept shutting down until I realized it was over heating so I was going to return it. But then I thougth what the heck I will get a fan to cool it like a lot of people do for there xboxs. So I purchased this on amazon https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00G05A2MU/ref=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_39 once I put the fan under it , it turned into a work horse and it has been 6 months with no problems. Installed a different launcher off of google play so I can customize the look. If you are buying it for kodi I just uninstalled the one it came with and reinstalled from google play but you will need to know how to mess with kodi. But if you just want plug and play I would recommend Terrarium which is the one I use, you really need to be a nerd to keep up with all the changes with Kodi. I also have a 1 tb drive attached to it. For the price and a little extra for a fan it is well worth it especially for the people who like to customize their stuff

love the device but had it working for 2 days before it rebooted and got stuck on the T95Z Plus boot logo screen. I've tried factory resetting through the recovery menu with no luck so I tried reflashing with an SD Card and it gets stuck at the same point every time on that load. I ordered a usb male-to-male cord which will arrive tomorrow to try a direct flash, if that does not work I will need to RMA the device.I will update this review once I try the direct flash steps on whether an RMA will be needed or not.not happy that the system crapped out after 2 days :/

I would have given this box a 5-star review, but the HDMI cable that came with mine was junk. Certainly not a deal breaker!It does come with Kodi v17.3 preinstalled. It was very easy to install the latest version of Kodi, using the Google Play Store app that comes preinstalled. The box also comes with 32gigs of storage, and two USB ports that you can use to connect an external drive up if needed in order to gain more storage.You will want to purchase a wireless keyboard to go with this box. It will make your life a little bit easier in the long run and save you some time. The box comes with Chinese as the preselected language. There are YouTube videos on how to change it to English and make it stay on the English language. This box is connected to my network wirelessly. I'm able to stream videos without any lags or buffering.

The Internet connection worked for about one download and then flat out quit. Wireless and Ethernet. I pulled an IP address, but nothing would connect. Then, after a couple days of ignoring it and about to ship it back, I tried it again on a whim and it started working and has so for about a week now. Hopefully it remains stable. The box seems to run well, but navigating with the remote is simply a pain. Without a useful manual it makes for a lot of "discovery learning". If you don't have the patience to fiddle with things, I wouldn't recommend this box. On the other hand, if you're savvy with boxes, this thing will be fine for you. All my add-ons run fine. I really like the "clear memory" button that is prominent on the main screen. It's very useful for ensuring a clean slate periodically and you don't have to dig around to find it. I would rate the box higher if it had better documentation, remote navigation was more robust, and it operated flawlessly out of the box.

Holy crap this box is fast!! I have had a 2gb ram and 16gb HD for the last two years and this blows it out of the water. It gets really great wifi signal surprisingly. Normally in the same spot of my living room it tries to go to 144 resolution on YouTube and this one went straight to 1080 and plays without any buffering! Forget the stock launcher, go to play store and download Lucid Launcher or whatever one you would like then it is just like a phone. It is rooted so you can use titanium backup and remove the factory junk. Kodi works as well. Questions?

I bought one of these last year with perfect performance, but the new one had a very dark screen when watching video. I sent it back and ordered a replacement, but that was dark too. I read after the fact that they changed some of the components and consequently it's not the same box that it once was. I use (and resell) these boxes for watching remote CCTV systems, and it is absolutely useless in that application. I gave it to someone who used it as a media player and it was useless in that application, too.Save your money and find something else

This is not very user friendly at all. I would suggest before even attempting to load addons that you get a wireless keyboard as the remote that was sent as part of this package is, at best, crappy (to navigate with)Also missing the entire PVR add on folder so I cant run live tv. still trying to figure out how to load it. If you are not a android developer, you will have to watch hours upon hours of youtube videos to figure out even the basic of functions on this box.Considering a return if I cant find the pvr add on folder. Rather pointless to not have it installed. This is not "fully loaded" as claimed

This is an amazing tv box not only is it powerful but the main thing is you can stream all day with out the overheating and it has 3 gb of ram and 32 gb of Rom which makes this extremely fast and lag free and to top it off it has nice lights that change colors or you can keep it as one color and it is android 7.1 you can't beat that so get this box while it is still available
