This is SIMPLY the most original and authentic recipes you could find for Vietnamese noodles. I have been a fan of Helen's recipes on Youtube for years and I'm so happyyyyy that Helen finally published a cookbook about Pho and so much more. The recipes are truly easy to follow. The book has beautiful layouts and designs. Helen has brought us some of the best Vietnamese cuisines recipes from her hometown. I also love all the photos in the book. For me, it's more than a Vietnamese food bible, having the book in my kitchen is simply my happiness.

Beautifully done cookbook. It is so reminiscent of Martha Stewart's "Great Food Fast" which is another of my favorite cookbooks. The photographs and layout are so nicely done and the recipes are concise and easy to follow. Many tips are given regarding the various dishes. I just can't say enough about the quality of this book and recipes. I have watched this young author for years on her Youtube channel and make my soup stock the "asian" way of bringing meat to the boil for several minutes and then rinsing the scum off of the meat and returning it to a clean pot and water for simmering. This makes for a very clear broth. The author and this book are delightful. You won't go wrong if you want to learn to cook some very tasty VietNamese dishes. Good luck Helen! And thanks!

I had followed Helen Le on YouTube, and found her to be organized and straightforward in her cooking style. It’s nice to see her cookbook shows those strengths as well. I’m not experienced with Vietnamese cuisine, aside from eating it in restaurants, so I wanted an easy to follow, logical cookbook that doesn’t necessarily dumb down recipes but edits the recipes included to those that are made with ingredients easily sourced from Asian markets and the internet. Her original pho recipe is not one I’ll likely tackle, but her modified soups are delicious. If you want a short primer with good ingredients, try this cookbook. Maybe watch her YouTube videos first to see if you like her style.

If you want to create pho that is absolutely amazing, as well as several related dishes, this book delivers in full. The recipes do involve quite a bit of work, but what did you expect for food of this quality?

I like the recipes in this book. I haven’t visited Vietnam before, but all the recipes are very authentic Vietnamese flavor like you eat from Vietnamese restaurants in the town, or even better. Some of the recipes that I love from the book are bun cha, the chicken pho, and Hu Tieu. Highly recommended, and all the instructions are very detailed as well.

I love this book. I have tried a few recipes successfully. I love Pho so this cookbook covers it all for beginners.

natürlich wissen vietnamesinnen und vietnamesen selbst am besten wie ihre küche zu schmecken hat. aber manchmal will man nimmer weggehen sondern lieber daheim kochen. dieses kochbuch zeigt, wie's geht, wenn vietnam gefragt wird. bestens für einsteigerinnen und einsteiger geeignet. und wenn sogar eine junge vietnamesin, die ihre freundinnen selber gern bekocht, dem buch solide qualität bescheinigt, dann hat man gut gewählt

Love this book, it's got great instructions and great tasting food.

My Wife Meriel Loves this Cook Book! She's been able to cook me authentic Vietnamese food. Helen makes it really easy and lays out exactly what you need. Other people make it look hard but Helen simplifies everything which makes the entire cooking process easy! Our favourite recipes are the Pho Broth and since they she's been able to master this. All her recipes are really good. you won't be disappointed and you'll definitely be left satisfied and full!
