This may damage your system
At first I really liked this controller, first of all because is hybrid and I can connect my solar panels and wind turbine in one controller, also it has a backlight in the display and shows how much current is flowing from the panels and from the wind turbine. I had two 90AH batteries, which had 5 years of use but were working great. Then I connected this controller to them and they only lasted a couple of months more. They did not hold a charge anymore and all of a sudden started emmitting a bad odor and inflated. So, I though they were old and died due to normal circumstances. I bought new batteries, which cost me a lot, and again connected this controller to them. A few months later my inverter started to shut down the output, and I could see the input voltage rising up to 15.5V and then going back down to 13.4. This happened a couple of times and I was blaming the inverter! I thought it got defective. But then I read that the inverter has a input voltage protection of 15.5 max input voltage. Well, the controller was the problem. I connected a solar controller I had and the inverter was working fine. I think this may ruin batteries and possibly inverters. I do not recommend this.
