Classic All-in-One Hands-Free Pumping and Nursing Bra

Essential component for my commitment to pumping
I absolutely love these bras for both pumping and breastfeeding! I own 4, two of these classics and two racerbacks in colors. I'm a working mother of 3 and pump for a year each time. Yup, that's three years of pumping... It can get really old, and, well, boring. So what I love is that wearing these bras in the morning helps me make a mental promise to pump, and when I can squeeze it into my daily schedule, it's practically effortless and saves time thanks to this amazing bra.Comparison to the zip-up tank top types (PumpEase, Medela Easy Expression Bustier, Simple Wishes).I used these previously and Rumina ones suit me much better. With the tank top types, you either have to get undressed or use them over your clothes. I tended to use over my clothes with nursing bra, that way was quicker and less chilly. However, my clothes always were rumpled and creased after each session (3x a day in the beginning!). In addition, at times, a small bit of fabric would get under the flange and would wick milk out, causing a big leak spot on my clothes! What I like about the Rumina is that you can weave them through the flaps and you are UNDER your clothing, not compressing from the top of the clothing. The bras are comfortable for all day wear, and I've even fallen asleep in them and worn overnight! Their one detraction is in terms of durability, I've found the chest elastic stretches out over a short time. Perhaps it's because I wear them all the time? But I expected that they would hold up better. Obviously, I'm hooked on these because with three kiddos and a full time career, I need all the shortcuts and support that I can get!

I really wanted to LOVE it.
My baby was born early and spent 6 weeks in the NICU, which meant I was exclusively pumping for a while. I looked everywhere for a bra that I could wear all day and pump hands-free in, and was shocked how few options there are. I found a total of 2 good options, and this one was half the price of the other, so I ordered it. When it arrived, I tried it on with high hopes and was kind of disappointed because (maybe it's because I'm relatively small chested) it didn't fit super well. Because there are so many layers, it doesn't lay quite flat even when they're smoothed out as much as possible, and the band on the bottom is slightly loose on me. If I was wearing it under a solid colored lightweight tee, it would look lumpy and awkward, so I didn't want to wear it out of the house. That said, it is GREAT to sleep in. Very comfortable, and I could wake up in the middle of the night and not have to fumble with zippers or putting anything else on. So much easier! It's pretty easy to slide out of the way to nurse, as well. I would probably buy this again.

Wish I bought this first
I love this thing. The sizing was curious but after a few wears it fits perfectly. I didn't wash mine before the first wear - maybe that helps? When I put it on the first time I definitely heard some thread rip, but I never found where. This bra is comfortable, it doesn't show like a pumping bra under thin t-shirts, it covers boobie pads, and it's totally easy. I was really confused about how to work it the first day, but it's the easiest one to manage in those middle of the night pumps. Also the most major plus - you can actually dry this one in the dryer. The Simple Wishes ones I have are not able to be put in the drier, which means I have to wait 8 hours after a milk leak before I can wear it again.I wish I had bought this one first. Well worth the money.I am a 38DD or 36DDD and I got the large. Fits great. Also - no uniboob.

Finally!
I love this bra.I have bought three hands free bras. Third time is the charm. This one is a keeper. I don't like the velcro, zipper, hook and eye... Go over top of your clothes pump bra. I would wrestle with those bras all the time... Trying to get it on to pump. It was very stressful. I am also a teacher. I don't have a lot of time to pump.I need something quick. I also need to pump to and from work. This bra made it all happen! It is so comfortable! It keeps everything in place for me to pump in the car and at work. I love not having to change into a bra or wrestle a bra on me. It gives me more time to pump. I bought another one! I have two of the tanks as well. Totally worth every cent.

Awkward but helpful.
I exclusively pump every three hours when I am at work on the weekends. I work 16 hour shifts as a registered nurse and need to pump quickly and be able to return to the floor quickly too if needed for emergencies. I'm happy that I no longer need to change into a pumping bra before pumping because I use a double electric pump at work but this thing is still a little awkward. The layers of fabric push the flanges out to the side which is weird and a little uncomfortable. If your a girl that typically lubes up before pumping....I don't think this is going to work for you. It needs a little friction to stay in place. This bra is also very bulky under the breast line. I wear scrubs so that doesn't matter too much to me. It also squishes my boobs down which also doesn't matter too much to me. I think this bra would be extremely annoying to breastfeed in given the toughness of the fabric and the ways it pulls to access your boob. I also find the elastic band around the bottom of the bra to be rough. It not covered in fabric....it's just exposed elastic. The worst part of the bra is the weird angle it pulls the flanges when pumping and the best part is not having to change bras at work to pump. It's probably saved me about 5minutes of time per session.Having said that I am glad I bought it but not as excited about it as I was before I got it.
