Six Generic Charcoal Water Filters for use in Capresso(TM) Machines that use 4440.90 Filters

I bought these as a replacement filter for my GE coffee maker. Some of the other comments said they didn't fit, so I was worried I had just wasted my money. They arrived and yes, they are too large, HOWEVER I was able to make them work. I took out the long handled filter holder and just placed this filter, correct side down, into the spot where it belongs. If you look into the water tank you will be able to see what I mean. (I used tongs because I didn't think my hand would fit in the tank). I just pushed in down real good, hoping it would stay and work. It did!! :) And so I wouldn't lose the piece that actually goes with the coffee maker, I just laid it in the water tank. It doesn't seem to affect it at all. (and I've been checking) So yes, the filter is kind of crammed in there, but it's been working, so we have a winner. Happy day, I didn't have to get a new coffee maker!

These work in a Capresso, but you have to remove the canister holder (long plastic handle) and insert the filter directly in the hole. The hole is oval, and these filters are round so requires massaging the shape to fit. They filter just fine but are not a direct replacement for the very expensive Capresso brand filters.

These fit our Capresso coffee maker perfect. It's kind of difficult to assess how well they actually filter versus the Capresso brand filters so I hesitated to give them five stars which may not be a completely fair rating. They were a bit cheaper and I'm happy with them so I would buy them again.

I expect these work well when they fit. I thought they'd be compatable with my Capresso Coffee maker but they are too small, just float on top.

Not quite the same as Capresso-but 1/3 the price

They are a tiny bit smaller than the OEM version but they work fine.
