And we use a ceramic vs. a plastic dripper to avoid the BPA-like chemicals in plastic. But, I'm afraid I can't recommend this pour-over ceramic coffee dripper. I really wanted to love it, for the very affordable price and the fun illustrations (we got the one with an illustration of an open book).Unfortunately, it's just not a quality product. The piece is much larger than it appears in photos, and the ceramic is thick, chunky and cheap looking. On the very first use, it stained badly from the coffee, a stain which would not wash off with hand washing or in the dishwasher. After a few uses, the whole inside was dark brown, and nothing will wash it off.
