I'm afraid to try another one at this point. I did try a "cheaper" one but it was money I should have applied to another of these.I've been wearing wigs for a few years and the amount of glue and tape and mess... I had NO IDEA. And the bad thing with those too is that even though I got a pretty good system in place, the right amount of sweat/water can undo all that hard work.Sometimes I have to "redo" this a few times to get the grip right. But once I do, it's a life-changer. And readjusting a wig or band take no time and makes no mess.Getting ready is so much faster and this has stayed put when I didn't think it possibly could. Now... it's not full proof, and it's not perfect. But it is truly the best thing I have found.As an aside, this is a bit of an overshare but I think it's the perfect example of what I mean when I say this thing, when applied properly, stays put when you think there's no way it can. I was on a date with a hair-puller (no wig discussion yet)... let's just say what absolutely should have resulted in an embarrassing makeout moment did not, because this grip delivered. I'd recommend and trust this particular one over all others unless someone can show me a better one... it has proven itself 100%!

I wasn’t sure about this, but the reviews were excellent so I gave it a shot! I’m so glad I did!! I have short hair (shaved on the sides) and that meant wig combs had nothing to attach to so the wig would stay in place. I was always scared of the wig shifting or even sliding off, but with this head band, I’m not scared anymore! Also, wigs (especially the really heavy ones) can give me a headache from the sheer weight, on my head, for extended hours of use! After wearing the headband, NO MORE HEADACHES or even those wig line indentations you can get sometimes.....the headband is like a little pillow cushion for your head and it’s completely adjustable! I’ll never wear a wig without my headband again! I ordered a black headband to match most of my wigs.

I’m not sure how or why this has so many positive reviews or what type of wigs people are using this with because it did absolutely nothing for me.I wear a human hair(virgin Brazilian) wig. It’s a glueless cap, with three combs in it. I got it in a large and it’s a tad bit to big for me. So I ordered this headband thinking it’d be a quick fix like the reviews say. Okay, no. I’ve messed with this thing for an hour straight. I have to still wear my wig cap, and with this included it’s an instant headache. Unless you want your wig bunched up I guess you could toss your hair in a ponytail or somehow lay it flat and not use the wig? In my case, I can’t. So matter how I put this on my head it doesn’t hold the wig. My cap still slides around with it under. I still have to use my clips, and I have to make my clips super tight just to keep it still. The lace doesn’t lay right with this whatsoever. This would work if you had a synthetic wig with bangs or even a human hair with bangs. But if you’re wearing a wig and wanting to show your hair line and part, or wear it straight back, this does not work. You can see this clear as day through the lace. It stands out like crazy. You can’t hide it or even make it blend to look like a natural hairline. I’m going to continue to mess with it, but it’s honesty been a waste of money.

This wig grip is amazing. It does exactly what it says. The wig I bought was too big for my head and would slide and not stay secure despite the combs. When I put this item under it, it keeps the wig in place all day and it doesn't slide at all. The wig grip has Velcro which allows you to adjust it to fit your head without it being too tight, so no headaches. And it thin enough so that there is no bulk under your wig. This is a must have item!

I bought this after researching different methods for keeping your wig in place besides those clips you can sew inside your wigs, as I found those to be quite painful, especially after wearing your wig all day at a convention. I came across these “wig headbands”. I’d never heard of them before, and was a bit skeptical as to how well it would actually work, but I figured I’d give it a try, as I really couldn’t stand using wig clips.Boy, am I so, SO glad I did!!This headband is sooo comfortable to wear, and I can actually wear my back-heavy wigs all day without having to constantly pull them back down towards my forehead. I’m so used to using the bathroom at a con, looking in the mirror, and realizing my wig has slipped back super far on my head. That’s never a problem anymore! It’s such a pleasant surprise to look in the mirror now and see that my wig hasn’t budged at all.I’ve actually been able to stop wearing wig caps all together. The elastic bands on most wig caps are super thin and tight and give me a headache by the end of the day. This headband is easily adjustable, and even when I do put it on pretty tightly, it’s wide and plush enough that it’s never caused me and pain. (Note: I have shorter hair, hence the reason I’m able to use just the headband in place of a wig cap. I can’t say if it’d be the same for ppl with longer hair)I haven’t gotten to try this headband out with any of my SUPER back-heavy wigs (the ones with giant ponytails and such), so I’ll be sure to update my review regarding that once I do try it out. But for now, I absolutely highly recommend this to cosplayers!! (or anyone who wears wigs!)

I've never had to wear a wig and this product made the experience completely different. As a barber and cosmetologist for 25 yrs I have to confess theres an amazing difference between a ton of bobby pins that come unsecured from what hair I do have and the wig grip that I didnt even have to check to make sure it was secure. I even tugged on the back to see if I could feel any sliding; not at all! Being able to not think about hair and feeling more confident during this time is a blessing. Thank you so much!

Best wig grip. It holds my hair in place like you would not believe. This braided wig never stayed on my head when I did a high ponytail. It works like it should and it comes with a free rat tail comb

I love this product!! I fell asleep with my wig on twice unintentionally and when I woke up, guess where my wig was? Exactly where I placed it two days ago. Gotta get more and do a YouTube review!

I have a hair system and it didn't work well with it. Perhaps it works best with traditional wigs.
